*EPIC SNAPPER HOLE* in the BAHAMAS! Catch Clean and Cook! Day 5 and 6!

- After a couple slow days of fishing Capt Scott puts us in an epic Snapper hole! It's a hot Yellow-Eye Snapper bite as fast as you can drop the baits! After catching plenty of fish for dinner and some for the freezer the journey continues aboard the Catch 22 through the Bahamas towards Provo, Turks and Caicos. We grill one Snapper whole on the Traeger and then find a decent yellowfin tuna one afternoon. Enjoy!

I found a secret hole like that during my early college years, but only caught crabs.
He caught Crabs in college! giggle, giggle
😂
🤣👏🇺🇸
When I was a kid back in the 60s early 70s we hand cranked all of our golden tiles off Miami in 500+ft of water. The old men used us as winders with 9/0 senators. Was always wondering how many drops we were good for! The good old days before electrics. lol 😂
That’s awesome 🙌🏻
Ahhh! I remember those days when you had to work hard as hell deep dropping. It takes me back to my childhood hand cranking yellow eyes in the Bahamas.
When I was a kid we had to fish by hand in about 1300 hundred feet of water.
From sarasota.florida local.i live thru your videos
Thanks for sharing the family time.enjoy your dad as much as you can.sometimes its hard to deal with old cranky men but you only get one nick.take care

Hey Nick, Provo, you or the Admiral, must have been here before, because, only the locals or visitors, call it Provo.
We have been there quite a few times. 1999 was the first time we did a family trip on the boat, but I know my dad had been there before.
🇬🇺🗣Foster!! You Are Da Man!!👍💪🥳..yah mon✌🎶
Black jacks are really good to eat

Nick As7k your father if he remembers a boat captain by the name Huge Brown? He ran out of Holiday Isle. In 1963 he threw a scuba tank on me and said go at it boy. It was fun until I ran into a shark a lot bigger than I was and I swam back to the boat and said I had enough for the day. We were anchored up on the 1733 ship wreck pulling lobster and cooking them on board. We went back in 1986 and ran into Hugh and he said the fishing was not like it used to be. He said you should book a trip to Cay Sal with me. Sadly we never did and Hugh passed away.
nice video everything enjoy it allot thill when they trowing the bag with old squid in the ocean
Nick your Hair looking a little Wild this morning . Around 17:00 min into the video you have some pretty good Rollers out there . I was waiting to see the Old Man Opinion on the Snapper . Enjoyed it
Just wanted to say that I enjoy y'alls videos tremendously. You involve your dad with everything that you do. I learned everything I know which is mostly shore fishing from my dad and I wouldn't be the man I am today without his guidance. Thanks for making such great videos of your adventures.
Thanks Randy!
@@StanzFam you guys are remarkable fisherman, please keep up the great work and keep the videos rolling for us that don't have the opportunities that you do. It keeps a dream alive for all of us. Thank you very much. Veterans like me love watching these kinds of memories. It's what keeps us going throughout our years, remembering what's it like to be with family and friends making memories.
I’m taking my son to the keys for a father/son scuba/snorkel trip for his senior year in high school. My dad did the same with me,we went to Scottsdale,AZ for a golf trip.
Awesome. Will be a great time I’m sure
Amazing trip!!!!!!
So....the earplugs didn't work....weird!! Great stuff! Love it all!
When I was fishing with my dad back in back inthe early 80's, those "jacks" you guys were catching, eg black jack etc, we called them "Black Travelly, Golden Travelly, Silver Travelly, and my goodness, they were one of the top lists of sumptuous fish fishes. None went back overboard.
Good to know! I wasn’t sure if we could eat them
Just down fishing the humps off Islamarado jigging and them darn sharks did a number on our blackfin tuna!!!
Ugh. The sharks have been bad the last few years
Best way to eat fish
Love this series of videos! Always great content!
Loving the videos
Stanz fam bringing the 242 Bahamas 🇧🇸 to the world , thank you Nick🙏🏾
We love the Bahamas 🙌🏻
I am really enjoying your videos. Great way to end the day. Can't wait for our Key's trip in September. Looking forward to your next one. Thanks
I have to cook my next snapper on the grill like that.
Looks like a fun trip. Wish I was there.
Been a great adventure. Your videos are turning top notch. Foster seems like a pretty cool 😎 guy, you actually have a good crew
Thanks! Jamie has kicked up the editing and shooting a few notches
You need to cook another one for your Dad now, because you guy's devoured that one.... LOL. You need to get more cooking oil and flower and fry your Dad some snapper and hush puppies and coleslaw I bet he would be one happy man, you only have 1 Dad make sure he's always happy with his age trust me you will miss him when he's not around anymore, I know and it hurts me every day and it been 8 years so keep on keeping on and keep the old man happy.. and remember Claire approved.......
I love this series! What an adventure
Wow, that's really cool. It's so cool. The wide sea and sea breeze are so exciting to have a great match. great video thank you so much😊😊👍

Nick,
You enjoy all the great times with your Dad.

Pretty cool!! A legit catch, cook and clean while never leaving the boat. And although everyone was hungry, I know it was good because they kept going back for more! Great video!!

Keep em coming man, my kids and I love watching the videos 🤙
Living the dream!! 🎣
Awesome video keep them coming!🎣🤙

Nick, that was a great trip with your pops. Wish I could do that with mine, but he's 86 and probably wouldn't be too good out on the deep ocean.
Love the videos!! Keep them coming
That looks like a lot of fun. I'm enjoying it even if I get sea sick seeing the rolling waves there. Thank you for sharing been watching dmfd and decided to check you out.

Nick, your video quality has truly become top notch!!!
Thanks! Jamie has been shooting and editing lately . I’ll tell him
Looks soooooo good
love the videos!! must say ii am a bit jealous, good luck with blue marlin hope you catch a big one
Damn 700 ft within sight of shore you'd have to go half way to Mexico from H ernando Beach to get that deep of water
Question Nick, is the black jack a type of trevally?
Dude, your hair…What up!!!!
Simple Jack is bringing you luck
It looks like you guys have so much fun. I went fishing once as a kid off the coast of NC during a small craft advisory and had a horrible time. I want to make my way down there and go out with you guys and catch some fish!
I’ve really enjoyed this Bahamas series! Great content Capt 😎🍻🤙🏼
I really like the Catch 22 . Love to spend a few days fishing on her . No offense to the new freeman’s .
That smoke snapper looks real good. I’m getting a smoker soon, can’t wait to give it a shot.
Best way to eat fish skin and all specially fried.
Great video!.... That snapper looked amazing!
It was amazing and I don't eat fish with the skin on it. It always freaked me out. That Snapper was incredible!
Nick you live the life my 17-year-old son and I would love we hunt and fish a lot but the fishing where you live is unbelievable
Nick, what are the rules for fish caught in Bahamian waters and brought back to FL?
Good times, and that fish looked amazing 👍
