In Islam, Mom's matter. But, why? What makes motherhood so special in Islam? Why is motherhood so difficult? And, which mom is the best?
In this first of its kind, Muslim Mom Olympics, we put two mothers to the test. We take them through six grueling rounds of hardship after hardship to crown one winner and champion.
But, along the way, we learn important insight into mothers in Islam. For example, who are the four greatest women of the world? What advice does Luqman offer his son related to mothers? Why did Maryam (as) eat dates during her pregnancy, and MUCH more.
Hosted by Amin Aaser, this event not only highlights the incredible endurance of mothers but also takes us on a journey through the Quran. Learn about the greatest women in Islamic history and the advice of Luqman. Be reminded of the profound sacrifices your own mother made, and ultimately celebrate with us as we honor the powerful reminder that "Jannah (heaven) lies under the feet of a mother."
