Haha we almost didn't have time for it. It rained in the afternoon, so they cancelled karaoke, and the fan meetup was scheduled for 6PM, in another part of the city. Then the sun came out and they restarted karaoke, but we only had like an hour before we had to leave. I signed up for karaoke, but there were a lot of people ahead of me. The time went from 5PM to 5:30PM to 5:50PM. It was stressful b/c I really wanted to do karaoke but I also didn't want to be late for the fan meetup. We were just about to bail, then at like 5:55PM they called my name and I did it and as soon we were done me and my camera operator ran out to catch a cab to Brandenburg Gate to the meetup while frantically posting Tweets and FB posts to let everyone know we were running late. It was worth it, though!
Of all the countries Joe has visited, I wasn't really expecting Germany to be the one with the best sense of humor. Maybe it's because there's less of a language barrier since everyone there speaks English so well.

Berlin seems like such a cool place to visit and explore. Hopefully someday I can see it for myself. It feels like the city's structure is somehow simultaneously modern, Roman Empire, and 80s retro style.
