This is a basic connection but is so hard to find a very clear explanation like this one. Nobody ever told me about the directory move, that's a game changer, thanks a lot for your help!
Thank you, Azeez. Everyone else online was scholarly with their demo without explaining the basics as you did. You just gain a follower and thank you for the good work!
Hello bro..Thankyou so much for this video you made my day...I was struggling from last 5 days for this issue finally you helped me thank you once again 😊
What an outstanding explanation, specifically about the directory movement! I've spent a couple of hours, and still wasn't able to do it, but when I follow your one, it works perfectly, keep going, brother! cheers 👌👏👊
Thank you brother!!! I was having a very hard time accessing my instances and the directory was not set! Thank you so much! Please keep the videos coming and the attention to detail is remarkable! I'm currently taking my SAA and I will gladly look into taking my developers and or SysOps with you if it's available.
Hi, thank you for this detailed video. I do have a question though, I followed every step as per process. However, at the end when you get the prompt for ' Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no/fingerprint)? I typed yes, but I got a message - Permission denied (publickey). Can you please kindly suggest what to do next?
Many thanks for your lesson, I'm getting an error after I run the SSH command... Permission denied (publickey). any idea of what I have done wrong? many thanks.
You're welcome! Remember to apply the chmod 400 command to your key pair and ensure that you execute the ssh command from the directory where your key pair is located.
Hey, thank you so much, the tutorial is very easy to follow. I run into an issue when I try to ssh into my EC2 instance. I get an error saying "Operation timed out". I am not sure why that is the case
Any timeout is related to security group or a firewall, ensure your security group is correct (port, protocol, source IPs etc) and assigned to the EC2 instance. If there is still a connection timeout issue, it means a corporate firewall, or a personal firewall is blocking the connection.Jan 24, 2020
@@AOSNote Hi, I'm having a hard time connecting my DNS load balancer to the server. My target is showing healthy and port 80 is open but everything I paste my DNS on the browser it shows the site can't be reached. Please, can you Make a video on that? Thank you

Hi Zynab, The process works for any Mac computer. Also, did you launch your own ec2 instance? Who is providing the sandbox environment that you mentioned?
Great breakdown, but I'm receiving a continuation prompt ">" after I type the "chmod 400 Keyname.pem" I'm on a MAC, I've moved my .pem to the home directory as you mentioned. Thanks in advance!

Hello Johnson, that error is always related to your key pair. please make sure you have specified the correct key pair name and path in your command
@@AOSNote Thank you for your prompt response. Much appreciated. I will check it again now. Happy New Year!
If we want to use this instance should we hit stop at the end instead of terminating?
Hi Nick. Yes, you can stop the instance if you want to continue using it.
@@AOSNote thank you for your reply. So once it’s terminated I need to redo a new one right?
@@nickpiombino7685 Yes, you have to launch a new ec2 if you terminated the other one
