The man at the end of the video in front of what I'm assuming is an artificial vault is called the "Timekeeper" and the new planet is called "Kairos".
For me the vault hunters didn't pass the eye test for me. They don't look distinct from each other visually.

I think that the look very different from each other but have more side characters aura. Atleast the zane knockoff and the tech nerd girl

As someone who has been playing since the beginning, these characters are the best ones yet. I'm excited.
They should have the most exciting skill trees but I'm waiting for more gameplay to make a definitive decision.
The large guy is supposed to be some sort of Viking inspired character I think. From his braids and beard, and ragged fabric at his waist and action skill being fire and ice battleaxes, I just wish his design translated it better. Eista from the Guns Love and Tentacles dlc was a great example of this kind of design working in a borderlands setting. Even though he’s such a minor character, she’s more memorable than the entire bl4 roster
Eista is goated but I hope his action skill it a little more than summoning elemental axes.

When I first watched the trailer I didn't realize they were the vault hunters.
That said, if they have customizable heads and bodies then I'll make a character who I think looks cool.
I knew it was them, but I wasn't really impressed by their design but I'm waiting to see more before I truly have a definitive opinion.

@ManofMithril ahh ok I hope that there is augment's like the bl3 augment's and bl1 elemental artifacts that give your action skill that element

Yeah not sure how to feel about these new vault hunters. Most of them look kinda derivative. We’ve got another Zane, probably Ava, another Brick and another Moze.
gearbox has stated the siren is not ava
@@wellsjernigan3901ok then they might be the most distinct character of them all.
Yeah the characters are the biggest complaint so far but everything else looks good.
@@ManofMithrilI saw a comment on another video saying they hope these vault hunters are very customizable and that might be a good reason why they look so plain. The older games weren’t exactly known to have good character customizations because the characters look so dynamic that any changes just mucks up their design.

The cosmetics in this game could possibly make this issue not an issue anymore, I'm just waiting for the character introduction videos.
