Every successful team has a pop off slayer (or two or 3) LAG, C9, Seattle, Rokker, Boston simply do not have that, and relying on a neslo is a recipe for disaster. I think those teams, and Carolina should be calling Pred's phone non-stop until they get him on the team.

@kingslayersTV Carolina is a top team and gwinn is a pop off slayer, but if I were them and pred was legitimately available I'd be looking for him to replace vivid and either play TJ on flex or Pred on flex. Idc if mack is dropping a 6.0 C9 need something, id probably shuffle some players/roles to keep mack but still they need increased pressure on the map IMO
Rokkr don’t have that?! Nero playing at peak Nero piss slams anyone and everyone sure it can be inconsistent but he’s very much capable. Seattle have just been stuck by abuzah being shit and as a result 04 who is very Nero like is struggling to have those top end performances. Lynz needs 3 people he can bait to play well he’s got that rn but preston should be dropped and every team on your list (other than Vancouver) should be looking at encourage. Encourage for sib, encourage for preston, encourage for gio, encourage for wake id even extend that to ravens encourage for ravens might make them a banker for top 4 as long as gwinn don’t shit his pants on lan again.
Tier list is spot on, C9 is too inconsistent to logically compare to anyone. Good teamwork and a better game plan can trump sheer talent this early in the game, there are still niches to be carved. A lot of teams could get it right at Major 1.

I’m conflicted on how to think about OpTic cause yes they are a good team with good players but they still seem to come down to the wire seems like almost every series. I keep thinking looking at Ken I don’t know if it’s the game or losing Pred or both but he looks lost. As an OpTic fan this year sucks cause with Dashy and Shotzzy if we had a full team firing on all cylinders I can see that team being insane but they just play so agro and throw their lives away trying to do to much. For HP I think Ken should sit on the hill while Dashy can be like a Cell where he posts up and beams you and if he has to move around while Shotzzy and Huke can be on you getting kills and if they need to play slower around the hill and pick up the fights the ARs can’t get instead of playing so fast and throwing lives away.

The sample size for teams playing each other is still very small. The category that Optic is in with the other T4 teams is event winners. If you can't see OpTic in their current state winning or at least having a good chance to win you're delusional. They barely lost to Carolina and are always a good match up against FaZe. Also that team that they did lose to (which was Boston) they just beat during this minor tournament so It's no surprise that they are ranked lower than OpTic.

How am I supposed to view OpTic as a T3/T4 teams when they have yet to play majority of the top teams, yet still have lost multiple times and/or struggle to beat bottom teams? OpTic are 5th/6th at best.

Boston isn't a bad team and the LAG match was at the beginning of the season with a new teammate. I could also see OpTic taking the 4th spot with Ultra dropping out. They have had a pretty easy schedule similar to OpTic, yeah they did beat FaZe but that was also at the beginning of the season, which we know now that FaZe is a completely different team. Ultra have gone game 5 with a few of the bottom tier team like Surge and Miami which you seem to think matters a whole lot in rankings. Once again any one of these top 6 to 8 teams could beat each other. With so little matches currently and the map pools slowly being figured out, a definitive rank list is stupid anyway hence why Ben didn't order them he just put them into categories which I think more accurately describe the teams. I mean just a week ago people would've had Faze in the bottom 4 if they went purely off of matches and not potential.
Optic really need to sort their snd out and clean up their hardpoints. Not good enough to just blame the match pacing that its different from practise, everyone already knows this so just mentally prepare for it. That red card they lost was extremely unjustified to be losing given that had full rotation and chose to hit old. Love Kenny but by god hes been very very inconsistent this year, he cant be having these bad series given they dont have someone like AG to pick up the slack. OpTic is not in the same tier as the other T4 teams. They haven’t beat any of them, but they have lost to a team you have ranked lower.
