Here in Brazil unfortunately peugeot is seen like a fiat marea, unreliable ... But we are very poor in here and mechanicals don't like these kind of cars full of sensors ... But I'm happy with my 408, very very nice suspension, it seens a car of another world comparing to the "cars" we have here

Their the warning lights that come on once you start the engine then they clear as they do in most cars. If there was a engine or low oil level problem the lights will stay on.
@@deanjenkins4192 In this video we hear warning when idle and we see sometimes STOP and probably oil indicator (hard too see). I had similar problem with the same engine, it doesn't look good
@@RafiXX in my pug, if you start the car before the stop light goes out, it will beep and flash until it goes out a few seconds later. If you turn on the ignition and don't wait any time at all like this, that will happen. So I always turn on the ignition, wait 3-4 secs for the stop light to go out and then start it. No beeps unless low fuel level (also seen here)
The 307 was really a downgrade and a bad time for Peugeot imo; the 206 was iconic, come with some issue but was resolve after a time, the 307 suffered from problem throughout his production, electronic is shit, paint is of really bad quality in some versions, the joint had a tendacy to be damag with time thus making the car take some water...
I own a Peugeot like this, although I have a 1.6 engine, for 8 years now, there are no problems with the electrics... Like in any other car, the light bulbs burn out, the car has nothing to do with it. The service life of other parts is average, the main thing is to buy good spare parts.

Oil pressure alarm on this engine is common usually when the oil has become to thin, the pressure sensor is sensitive
I have this car with 1.6. 80kw petrol engine and it is on the age for thet body.
1.4 is only for cruising.
