Why carry water in the back of a pickup when you can put in 8 60 pound sandbags for about $60. We have a big tote strapped in the front of the pickup bed to keep them dry in case sand is needed. I don’t know if I would trust something attached to the roof with a vacuum. I would think changes in temperature could affect to seal and I sure don’t want it killing someone behind me.
Why out "8" bags of "60" of messy sand in the back of your pickup?!. Ok, so when a bag or 2,3,4 or all now, you have to go buy "8" "60" lbs bags again at $60...
@@garyapeterson6949 Because if you do get stuck a block of ice in a bag isn’t going to help you. It’s in a tote so it isn’t messy. You must live where it doesn’t snow.
Here in Norway roads are getting slightly more icy each winter. Snow plowing and salting costs has increased alot and the services get stretched to a lower standard, so new tech is very welcome.😂
I live in Alaska and I see that also. Here it is due to increased traffic. The borough in Alaska where I live had about 17,000 people in 1980 and now there are about 120,000 people. Back before there was a lot of traffic they used sand on the road on corners. Also just on the main road through one of the cores areas now has 16 traffic lights where there used to be none. When the temperature drops to around 10 F everything is frozen good and not as slick.
The “Snow tow” tire one is almost the same design my dad did. He welded up some for our aluminum trailer to get through all the snow we get and he was almost going to make a patent for it!
7:07 . yeah, every car comes standard with this already installed... ITS THE DEFROST SETTING ON THE AC CONTROLS. For heat, just let your engine warm up, and turn it on.. Voila. It will melt the ice and snow, as well as clear fog from the windshield/windscreen. 10:03 .. lets see them make this for a Tesla or EV Battery LOL
With regard to the Boss Drag Pro, that is a good idea BUT you will need to have a special wiring harness installed to your truck which is quite costly. I do snow removal for commercial contracts and the equipment does pay for itself, however the wear and tear on the vehicle is not worth it unless you do snow removal for a living
This is what I prefer. Upgrades for your existing items. Be it car accessories or accessories for anything, house improvement gadgets or some other things before.
If you are going to drive in snowing condition. Take with you some towels you dont use anymore. It's the best solution if you get stuck on ice and just keep spinning
I appreciate how you explain this topic clearly. Your passion for your RUclips channel is evident. Your content has given me some great ideas for potential new videos. I'll be sure to follow your work and share ideas!❤😁
Shura Trax appears to have a major pitfall. Fill with water. The water freezes. Now you need to get the Shur Trax out of your vehicle because you need that space for legit cargo. Good luck moving that big block of ice.
Yes, I'm sure that car sock is super convenient when you toss it into the trunk of your car covered in chemical sludge on the road in the winter. Winter is coming and brings that to Ukraine where many cars are stuck in ice, snow and mud
The Bevo Grip system is not a feasible solution as you are needing to consider the weight of the sand with the total weight of your load which also will factor in to the wear and tear factor of your commercial vehicle.
Most of this stuff is crap the battry warmer would be ok and the oil pan warmer maybe depends on how hot they get and a rear snow blade no way it make you lose traction and control on a pickup the biggest joke is the heated ice scraper ha ha ha ha lmao
Most places, you're not allowed to plow a city street. Whose going to pay for damages? And then many city's plow drivers are unionmized, so you'll get in trouble thgere too. Better be careful with lock de-icer. Sometimes you gotta make sure it's okay to use on the make of your vehicle; some have had the plastics in their locks melted!
I am uncertain about the super duty [9:37], but I know Ford has an active shutter system design in service with some vehicles. The diaper is... a useless snow catcher?
Is the battery heater at 10:00 supposed to be an invention? They've sold these in auto parts stores (in cold climates) for literally 30+ years. It is not a specialty item at all. They probably have them at Walmart now. Edit: Holy crap 65 dollars?!? I think the last one I bought was less than half that!
BevoGrip isn't anything new. Our school buses in NE Vermont had them in the early/mid '70's. Snow days? Bah! We laughed at snow days. It had to be a full on winter blizzard with 3-4ft of snow drifting over the road for school to even be thought about being cancelled. Not like today where the mere threat of a flake and the teachers unions and school boards panic. And yes, I did walk a mile and a half up hill both ways to get to the bus stop. (only because the road went up and down a hill. 😉)
Keyless entry is a small but amazing invention. Not having to fumble with keys has made life so much easier

Why would anyone live where you need anything ? God bless Texas

I can't beleive heated windshield wipers didn't make the list but a 12,000$ rear plow did
Again proof that some people have more money than sense.
Yeah, they just keep feeding the beast system making it worse and worse 😢
My new 2500 hd Chevy has automatic shutters on the radiator that close and open as needed. It also has a heated steering wheel.
My 2021 GMC Sierra 2500hd came equipped with that too. Excellent idea from GM. I love my heated steering wheel as well. Seats too.

I don't have a car but these inventions are really awesome and can help many.
Many moons ago when I drove a tiny lightweight sedan, I would put sandbags on the rear passenger floor. Worked like a charm
12:00 car drives over scraper without a hitch. Hitch adds about 200lbs to car.

Stay home in bad weather 😊

Also, some small gravel or other gritty substance in an old plastic milk bottle can be a lifesaver.

It did state you can put cargo directly on top of the bag.
@robertheinkel6225 yeah, but Murphy's Law; you'll need the full space to haul 5 minutes after that thing freezes.

BUSH WINCH good the sand thing is a real thing and tricky. Specially mud.

that sea sucker is a major lawsuit waiting to happen
Interesting , Thank You .Many fine gadgets
Good car
Many years ago I had the plug in cigarette lighter heater, but mine was shaped like a hair dryer. It barely put out any heat.
The battery warmers and oil pan heaters are nothing new. They have been around for years.
Having to deal with any of this
each winter sounds llke an absolute nightmare.
It makes sense to me
Man, if I was rich I’d be poor
6:55 why do they still call it a cigarette lighter when they don't provide one
Maybe calling it a 12v outlet
Why is this guy's voice everywhere now 😮

The blue shield cover says it was canceled 4 years ago . Unless someone can find it somewhere else
6:35 Not even once it removed frozen ice on window. 100% useless.
I have a cheap plastic ice scraper in my car door that cost less than a dollar, and I'm sure it does just as good a job.
4:44 does it have something against robber?
When’s the next vid from you guys?

Won't the water freeze
You want the weight. Ice or water weighs the same
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Wow that music is soooo annoying!
