This was a fantastic fight, and despite the potential for it to be a toxic affair, both sides were pretty gracious throughout. Truly was a fight worthy of champions. Canelo was simply the better fighter despite the grit Trout showed.
Unfortunately we do not see how money flows in these things. And that is what seems to be the sticking point against de la Hoya, with Canelo. Apparently, there are payments that did not flow per the contracts and so the need for lawyers etc. So, best interest to promote towards growth. But maybe some finance unfulfilled in the process. So, this we can never tell.
