That puts him in the 20% capital gains bracket, which means he retains 600k in yearly tax free income. That's 50k monthly for the rest of his life. You can pretty much rent any Miami penthouse you like and lease any car you want, have a 2 week vacation per month, fly first class, hire a cook, a nanny and a cleaning person and watch Netflix all day long or something.

    Answer is simple.....if we don't get Ty Lue, elevate Phil Handy to HC and augment the staff with genius X&Os ACs, 1 on O like Rondo and one on D.... We need specialist role as coaches.
    Then, The 1st order of business is to get a big bruising rebounding center to back up AD and then work on the margins to supplement the roster. I think losing DLo for nothing might not be as big a deal as we're making it out to be.....I think a guard rotation of Gabe, AR, Max, JHS and a FA signing should be fine....

    Bench: Vanderbilt - Max (pay him and PLAY HIM) - Sign a Center - Dinwiddie/Gabe? - dosent look that bad and you still gotta see what the rest does with player options and MLE from the Lakers. Maybe Sign and Trade Dlo for a big ? idk, just random ideas.

    I'm still in disbelief on how we lost this series. We literally had every game within reach. Wasn't like they blew the brakes off us.

      Reaves is an elite role player. You keep him like they shoulda kept caruso. Still an important part of this team doing anything. That being said obviously lakers need size better defense better shooting etc etc. 3-d wings and a big strong center for jokic/embiid/kat. Rui is a solid player but reallt struggled. I wish they could merge rui and vando and make the ultimate player. Vando and energy players were sorely missed tho.

    • @benjaminsmith2287
      @benjaminsmith2287 Месяц назад

      Reaves showed up and especially in Game 5. He hit a good amount of clutch shots late in the 4Q in game 5. He did miss the last one, one he usually makes. But he went to the line 8 times and scored 9 4Q points. that's showing up. And he was active on defense on Murray, a guy nobody is stopping. Plus he had some steals. Reaves only sucked games 1 and 2 and he stated so. Rui was awful until game 5. DLo is a problem because when his shots don't fall, he doesn't do enough of the other things that help a team win (rebound, defense, get to the line).
