Native Spirit is one of my favorite decks. I enjoy this one because of the theme. The fairies aren't my favorites, but I love the energy of the deck and the rest of the deck is doable for me. Plus, the meditations that accompany the deck are fantastic. There's one for every card and they clock-in at around 10 minutes each. Not bad if you like that stuff.
I bought this one a while ago. The messages kind of say 'here's where you are on the path, keep going'' kind of a feeling. I use it when I need encouragement, not for any serious clarification - but that's just my experience. :) Looking forward to hearing about your experience.
I just received this deck today (Monday June 27th 2022) from Amazon and I absolutely love it. I'm very new to ORACLE card's and in fact I only own 3 decks at this time. I greatly respect your opinion and I thoroughly enjoyed this video unboxing. Also I just wanted you to know that I just subscribed to your channel because I can tell that your extremely gifted. Really looking forward to your videos. Thank You
Even though the artwork is not my favorite the meaning behind the cards is just spot on. Its very similar to Colette decks of cards but this deck is more grounded.
You seem like you prefer dark decks. My favorite card stock AND oracle deck, hands down, is the Kali Oracle by Alanna Fairchild. If you want to work with all the deep, amazing aspects of the Dark (yet benevolent) Mother, that is the one for you. The artwork is stunning, the card stock and feel is that buttery soft rose petal finish, and the book is awesome. Also, Stacy Demarco's Deep Dark and Dangerous deck is one worth reviewing. Love that one for shadow work as well.
I love this deck! Use it the most for meditation, and listening to the meditations when I go to bed 😌 (I have a noisy brain when I go to bed). It really has proven itself that it watches over me and is very accurate. It reads very well for my bf aswell! 💖 I want to love all of the cards, but the The Dafodil Fairy and Wild Rose Fairy is giving me wrong vibes, and still do (think its their eyes).. 😅 But I want to have this for the rest of my life!
This is one of my favourite decks. I've been working with it for a while. What really helped me appreciate the cards more, were the meditations found on the Hay House website that go along with each card. The link is in the front of the guidebook. Denise Linn is a wonderful lady. But I totally agree with you about the computer generated art - doesn't work for me either.
Racine, I too have an issue with the computer generated images. The fairy images reminded me of Barbie's Farytopia. I was so happy when my daughter out grew that phase. There is a distortion with the shape of the face and body. A few year back, I purchased Sacred Power Reading Cards from Rockpool. I like the guide book and card phrases; however, the computer generated images are difficult for me to meditate with. All my best, Amber
The art reminds me of like a 90's Disney knock-off film... I'm NOT a fan. However I found the perfect color to edge it in, and I do think the guidebook is decent. Some of the cards are pretty and whimsical, while others are just so cheesy. I also wish it was more Forest and less Sacred. But I keep it around mainly for when I want to mindlessly shuffle to keep my hands busy.
I use this deck with my daughter. She loves the images. She’s only 6 so it’s perfect for her. But I completely understand how you feel about using it for yourself. 🖤
Sometimes it's really difficult to look past the sugar sweet tinkerbell images. I usually concentrate on the details rather than the full image and can find something that breaks the sugar sweet up and give some darkness/shadow to give it some depth. Thank you so much, I have been thinking of buying this deck but will think a bit longer now.
The fairy ring oracle! Oh my goodness I hate the art work in that deck but it was so stupid accurate that I've never gotten rid of it haha. Definitely agree this art work is not my thing . Thank you for the unboxing
I think I have the sacred forest oracle somewhere but I went to pull it out when you started the video because I like reading and looking along with readers. I always learn something new. Anyway I actually pulled “ the enchanted forest tarot”. It is so warm and wonderful. All illustrations and paintings. I thought one was the other but I’m so glad she came out to play. Lunaea Weatherstone and Mereylah Allwood created it. I know you are doing oracle but it is beautiful. 🥰🦋🌙✌️✨
I really like some of the images but some are not really my thing. I really enjoy the free meditations though, they help me to relax and visualize myself in the forest. The price of the deck is great considering you get the cards, guidebook and meditations for each card.
Going to be honest, some of the cards remind me of the movie “Strange Magic” I kept hearing the song “stronger” by Kelley Clarkson. I’m not sure if I could work with the deck. 🖤🖤🖤
I'm with you, girl. I gifted mine to my niece. I could not get past the fairies, etc. If it had only been a couple of cards I could have used it but a quarter of the deck? I have The Shamans Dream, there are 2 cards I can't deal with but I love the deck, use it a lot and can get past 2 cards. Good luck, am interested to hear your review.
LOL gurl I know how you feel. I just bought it and I remove 3 cards, Love, Stability and Refuge. The CGI human are too in my face. The rest of the smaller CGI human depicted as fairies I can live with. I will read Love in conjunction with Beauty, Stability together Strength, and Refuge with Retreat if I draw the latter cards.
I feel your pain with this one. I ended up taking out some of the fairy cards and slipping them under the guidebook, and I just won’t use those cards because when they came up in readings I just had such a hard time getting past the images. Also, for anyone who does happen to like the photo-manipulated style fairies, check out the Forest Creatures Tarot (there are 2 versions). You’ll see one of the cards in this deck is taken straight from that deck, and ALL of the cards in Forest Creatures have that style of fairy in them. I couldn’t handle those decks and had to gift them away, but I’m sure they are someone’s cup of tea. (Raecine, you’ll absolute cringe if you get Forest Creatures, so unless you want to put yourself through a torturous experience, steer clear of that deck. Lol)
This video made me chuckle! This was clearly a painful experience for you 😬😂 Definitely not my favourite it either, the photo manipulation unfortunately made many of the cards look cheesy IMO 😬
I was wondering, when I saw the upload notification, "ermmm... why?" I like cheesy decks but I know they have a specific use for me... Well done for ploughing through 🤣...
I want to LOVE this deck sooo much…but it bugs me that some of the cards art style does not match the rest of the deck…also could’ve done without images of people
Photomanipulation in spirit animal decks is not my cup of tea either, it feels unnatural which isn't what I want from a nature-focused deck! Have you checked out Jimmy Manton's Secret Language of Animals deck? I think you'd like that one.
I find it hard to fall in love with a deck that's image's look photo manipulated, I too cringe at the human looking depicted fairies, it's not how I see them at all. It is not a deck I could see myself being drawn to using but each to their own. I love your deck reviews, the thick matte card stock is a preferred choice of mine 100% so I totally appreciate your references to this when you do these review.
One thing bothers me about this, was it really nessecary to number them with such a giant ball! If they didnt wr could pick out those we do not like and use the rest of the deck. Edit: also these type of photo edits, need to stop using photos of celebritieeeees.

Would love to hear your full review of this deck after working with it.

I did the same thing!
Jajajaja your faces!!! I’m sorry! Thank you for the effort!

How do you know when it’s time to let a deck go? Do you keep more than you give away?

Ok this Aquarian with Virgo rising…It’s just a no for me…
Images not my favourite. Denise Linn is a great writer.
Not loving some of these images 😮
