This is my open challenge to all youths and even older individuals addicted to music, who believe they will never quit this habit. Once you try listening to the Tilawat e Quran in silence, initially, Shaitan may try to hinder you, making it challenging to concentrate on the recitation. However, believe me, once you succeed in overcoming your Nafs and Shaitan, you will find peace in listening to the words of Allah..
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٞ وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّ خَسَارٗا
Allah says in the Holy Qur'an, "And We sent down in the Quran such things that have healing and mercy for the believers (al-Isra, 17:82)
You will witness this miracle yourself-there is some magic in the words of the Holy Quran that after listening to it, you won't wish to listen to anything else. The same music that you once considered nourishment for your soul will become a source of discomfort. Listening to the Quran will calm your anxious heart, while music may make you feel uneasy. So, do you accept my challenge?
