I don’t think she was intended to sound like thats what she’s saying, I read it as just “you’ll never be HIM and you should just be Robin instead” but it is pretty funny if you read it that way
i think all of these little DLC packs for the characters should've been longer, similar to the Batgirl DLC pack. some great story's could've been told, especially for the Red Hood pack (which was literally like 10 minutes long 😭)
Yeah they are so short and lazy just cash 💰 grab rush to sell quick. The dlc was short for a lot of them. I think batgirl was longer because they did her dlc first I think? ❤❤❤❤❤
so true in this game Tim is so bland and is basically Nightwing but worse. He was way better in City with the hood, voice, personality, and younger age
he's like Nightwing Lite, its genuinely kind of sad to see him like this because there was so much room to use him and expand his character beyond what we see
Robin deserved better across the whole Arkham series. His biggest moment of triumph is in Harley Quinn's Revenge and otherwise, we don't even know why Batman recruited him after the death of Jason because he's constantly telling him to get lost. That's not even getting into the fact that we never get to see Dick or Jason as Robin beyond a non-canon multiplayer mode or Jason being tortured. It just makes Robin in this series feel like a wasted character.
This game took such a weird approach with Tim Drake. It really wasn't a great adaptation of the character and didn't even really feel like him. Aside from the fact that Tim is a teenager in the comics, he's also supposed to be the smartest person in the Bat-Family, even more so than Batman, to the point where Batman has said that one day Tim will be the world's greatest detective, and yet that is hardly utilised in this game. He really just stayed in a lab for most of the game and just moaned about Barbara. And that's another thing, they gave him many personality traits that are supposed to be synonymous with Dick Grayson and not Tim and the most evident example is being in a relationship with Barbara which was such a bizarre decision considering that Dick and Barbara are one of the most famous couples in comic books. Also I don't understand why they chose to make Tim Drake bald in the game
This universe’s Tim confuses me cause he kinda just feels like a guy who works with Batman, it’s also really weird that they aged him up to be around the same age as Dick and Barbara it makes him and Nightwing feel redundant (especially since he marries Barbara who is usually Dick’s love interest)
Yeah couldn't agree more, it feels like you have Batman, Nightwing and the other guy, he feels so secondary, even in the main story where he plays a big part it still doesn't feel like he's being respected
@@smolbroski hows he boring he literally created Robin tropes that everyone associates with the character now and if you think relatable is boring then so be it
@@txtayler7086 look okay, other people have different opinions… doesn’t mean that they’re wrong. Like I prefer Carrie Kelley more than any other robin because of her distinctiveness whereas in modern comics and shows Tim is just some generic character.
@ yah modern comics that’s the problem I won’t defend how DC’s handled Tim for the past decade but pre 52 Tim drake was great and made people think Robin was actually fucking cool and a badass like if u ask anyone make in the 2000’s who there favorite robin is everyone is saying Tim drake but also Carrie Kelly is pretty similar to him in terms of just being a normal person who stumbles into Batman’s world I think the Tim character was a little copied from Carrie in certain aspects
I love this DLC but having Barbara continuously tell robin that he’ll never be as good as Batman is; will be the worst part of the DLC.
It just sounds like she hates her husband which is both extremely funny and also extremely sad 😂
I don’t think she was intended to sound like thats what she’s saying, I read it as just “you’ll never be HIM and you should just be Robin instead” but it is pretty funny if you read it that way
She’s not saying that she just wants him to be himself
"You're not like him you can be better" how the hell does that fly over your heads?
"You're starting to move like him"
"You sound just like him"
True it is funny and I think she’s getting tired of him bringing himself down comparing to Batman 😂❤❤❤
One could definitely say tim drake deserves better across pretty much all media at this point.
True, he does get the short end of the Bo Staff lmao
@@CharlesCardy Tim always gets excluded from the animated continuity and Dick always gets the crap kicked out of him. It's lame.

Yeah definitely, I’d have taken less packs with more substance because my lord they’re stupidly short 😂

I hate what SSTKTJL did to Robin.
I actually think whoever wrote the whole “kill him off screen” ploy needs to be fired
You and everyone else

It's because Arkham Batman is a fucking prick.

DLC is great. Robin Tim’s story is really underrated compared to the other robins ❤❤❤
Make a video about ideas for a next arkham game
Oooo that could be fun, might get some audience suggestions in as well, see who among us is a writer 😏
Tim drake is the most boring robin
Read his solo run from 1993-2009 and you’d probably think differently
@@txtayler7086 he’s actually kinda right tho…
