It's silly, but ever since I discovered this video it's been somewhat of a monument for me. Whenever I come across this song i remember exactly who i was back then and what i stood for.. those thoughts have served as a moral compass for me when I feel I have strayed from the essence of myself. I feel like, probably much like Ollie has, conflicted.. So it's so easy for me to find sanctuary behind the Oliver Queen character, and "the hood". i know that it sounds silly to identify with a song and a fictional character but I identify both with ollie the conflict as well as the hood because after being born 28 weeks premature and developing hydrocephalus and other disabilities on top of that am 33 and every time I see this video I think about who I was up until this point in my life and try not to go back to being that person but I still have my demons just like Ollie did and I still struggle like he did with them i know that probably sounds silly but it's true so thank you for making this video and helping me to remind myself not to go back but do my best to move forward
