You can still use this feature to show the list of prompts if your not on the $60 plan. You just cant generate the images. I just copy and paste from the list. Saves so much time and money. Thanks for the video

wow, this legit just saved me days of my life haha...good looks on midjourney's part to make an epic feature I honestly wouldn't have even thought of myself, and I've been dying for *some* way to speed up my workflow for a while now too....I can't even begin to imagine how much time this would have saved me in the past when having to tinker around w/ super detailed & specific prompts varying in individual weights, stylize/chaos values, & all sorts of different variants....🙏

@@FutureTechPilot i was about to ask if it works well for aspect ratios, but then realized that they're all individual prompts anyway...so i don't see why they wouldn't/shouldn't work with diff ARs (was wondering just bc in the past i've tried to change aspect ratios w/o creating an entirely new prompt, which - if you've for whatever reason thought might work, like I did - does not fuckin work at ALL lol. it just stretches it all out and it's just a mess...so there's yet another thing to use it for 🤷♂ man, i'm going to end up using all of my fast hours in under a day i bet - hell, it'll realistically take me like 2 or 3 "full" prompts once i put this to use....shiiit.🤦♂
Damn! Finally a reason to get back to MJ after a month hiatus -- a feature I'd hoped for since last year (set-based permutations). Wait, Pro only. That's the $60/mo pan? Bummer, only have the $30/m plan. But I'm imagining how powerful MJ is now, esp. if you combine "/prefer option set" to hold your regular permutations, such as version or style parameters. You could potentially put in lines from, say, a poem as a permutation and let MJ do its work. Instead of having to enter every line one at a time. But it's easy to fill up the fast-hours queue this way :)
haha and they updated it already, $30 plan has access to it now as well. And that's a really good idea for holding permutations in your custom args. You've sent me down a whole tangent for some future videos haha
You could put multiple full prompts together as permutations if the resulting string isn’t too long. Then you wouldnt have to copy paste so much. ChatGPT generated prompts with permutations will be nice.
Unsplash is actually a stock photography website. So putting it in your prompt just brings a consistent realistic/cinematic look to the pictures. My favorite word to use for sure!

More than likely, MJ will not be able to get it right consistently, it can't do a 'style' transfer like that. But let me know if you find any tricks that work for you
This is a bit like garbage, but you did a a good explanation of it. Its too complex for 90 percent of people to use. The feature I want back is larger upscaling of selected pictures.
@@SirHargreeves Yes you are right. But images went from 6Mb a piece in version 4.0 to an average of 1.5Mb in version 5. Some users need high quality images, it’s the quality of images that’s important to me.

im on MJ5 and do have my seed, but its not reading the command --seed 12345, I even tried --seed:12345, but all in all, its giving an error for the word "seed", thoughts?
Just responded to your other comment, but I'll copy n paste it here. super strange ... --seed: definitely won't work so make sure you're writing (dash)(dash)(seed)(space)(####) --seed #### should work fine. Maybe try writing it at the end of your prompt too
Permutations sound like a great way to really burn through your fast hours. I really doubt I'd use the feature. I'd rather Midjourney would work on getting typography to work better.
That's a really good point, the mobile midjourney experience is less than ideal for any prompt experiments. Maybe they'll have their own dedicated app one day!

I used chatGPT to generate the storyboard based on the story of the track and the lyrics. To make the characters consistent, I had gpt insert a full character description into each storyboard frame prompt. Then manually inputting prompts one by one into Midjourney before upscaling. Took quite a long time, and i realize there's probably a better way to train on a specific face and do it that way. But this option makes the way I've been doing it much simpler and quicker. Once I've done it once, and have a good flow, I can production line it.... Although it feels a bit silly as in a week or two all we'll need to do is think and a movie is generated based on your exact wants and needs lol

Nice feature but this will eat up your fast hours real quick... just be cautioned using this. I don't get why Midjourney did not implement this for the Relax modus. If I wanna see multiple variations of a prompt I'd still use the Relax hours and type the prompts 1 by 1. Only issue there is Midjourney is limited to only 3 - 4 jobs in the queue at the same time

They changed it already! It's available to the $30 plan now too. And you can kinda 'elaborate' with the Remix feature but I don't think that is what you're hoping for

I don't have any inside information, but my understanding is that they have a small team, and they have like 7 things in development at one time. So yeah they are working on upscalers, but something like 'Permutations' was completed quicker so it came out first, you know what I'm trying to say? Again I don't have any actual clue what goes on behind the scenes, that's just the sense I get from listening to him speak during the office hours

I pretty much always know exactly what I’m going for, and get frustrated when it struggles with simple things like mixing the colours of for example “man in a blue suit and woman in a red dress”, or getting x above y wrong. It at least needs some kind of separators that work in a consistent manner, as it still mixes different areas of the prompts up far too often. Hands do still need some work but at least they are way better than they used to be. A few of the features they have brought out recently seem more “we are able do this, so we will”, which I don’t have a problem with normally, unless it impacts everyday usage. This month’s Pro just ticked over for me, and I almost delayed renewing after this feature’s announcement. I didn’t, so I’m just hoping it doesn’t slow down overall responses too much, although I do expect it to be slower for the week after all the channels report this update. Yes, I agree, there are things I’d rather they’d spent time on fixing/ making better, but tbh, I don’t think this new feature took much time to code, whereas things like in-painting (which would save me a lot of time) are quite major feature changes. I guess we are still very early days, so always crossing my fingers (no pun intended) 😊

This seems like a really bad idea to implement given they are already having GPU allocation issues and restricting Pro users from actually getting the number of parallell jobs we pay for. So sure let's introduce a way to quickly make even MORE jobs that will help!
Maybe! But I don't think many people will be using it. It's just a pretty advanced way of formulating your thoughts and I don't see many people finding the need for it. But I could be wrong!
Im not liking the idea to create mass of random awesome things, I want that special thing what is in my mind, but sadly its not working for now. Its too easy to generate epic images, every child could do that. So its getting less impressive in my opinion.

I thought all images are now automatically upscaled, meaning you don’t have to waste a generation on an upscale?
