Hello, I'm Rousseau, I make piano covers of classical and pop songs with a reactive visualizer. New videos every Monday!
#Rousseau #Piano #PianoCover Видеоклипы
The introduction to Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, one of the most important works in keyboard history. Through his two books of 24 Preludes and Fugues, one for each minor and major key, Bach showed the world the possibilities of equal temperament, which is still used in almost all music written today, from classical, to rock, to pop. This concept of writing pieces in all 12 keys went on to inspire other composers too, from Chopin and Liszt, to Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich.
Wonderful, Rousseau. Simply beautiful.
Love it
I admire your work and been following you since I stumble upon your channel the day you uploaded fur Elise.
I would love to see you perform La cumparcita, a lovely tango in my humble opinion. Check the performance of Alberto Dogliotti.

I believe this was published in 1722, so just over 300 years ago. That's before electricity, audio recordings, cars, planes, steam trains, phones, and most modern medicine. For me this is what is so incredible about classical music. The way it affects our brains hasn't changed. In another 300 years, people will still be listening to this.
You deserve a comment because I wanted to say that, I can see that we have the same mindset on that. My friends always laughing at me bcs I listen to classical music (specially piano) and I told them how hard and gorgeous piano is.

How come everything Bach wrote sounds like mathematical perfection? He truly was a genius...
That's because my teacher said that the pieces by Bach need extra analysis and they were composed by an intellectual
Gould's second take on the Goldberg Variations, where he plays them with a very precise, clockwork perfection, often sounds to me as if it God is speaking. Chopin does that for me as well.

Prelude in E Minor (Op. 28 No. 4) by Chopin
literaly tho
I used to love really hard a girl years ago that tried to play this because she knew I was playing piano and that I was fond of classical music.
We eventually broke up and not so long time ago I couldn't even hear this song without remembering her negatively. During that time I really lost my mental and got into a depression, because of the break up but also because of a lot of unfortunate events that chained with that. Now I'm on peace, and re-listening to that brings me huge nostalgia of a very determinate past time of my life that I won't forget ever. Maybe this girl hurt me as much as good, maybe that I idolized her too much, and that today she no longer think about me anymore, but everything is forgiven and I know I will die with no hard feeling and regret.
Music isn't just melody, it's a lifetime.
That’s beautiful actually. Happy for u❤️

@August Miller It's kinda the same rhythm every bar, so once you get used, it goes quite easy. But I gotta admit I had a tough time memorizing the final two arpeggios.
Yes , absolutely . You've to remember the exact harmonics if doing without sight reading. Actually this is a level 1 - 2 piano piece. So, even any beginner might require 4 - 5 days , or even lesser to successfully play the entire piece , and once done several times, they will be able to remember and play the entire thing easily .

From a musical theory point of view, its (obviously) written in the key of C major, but it periodically throws a minor arpeggio into the mix.
Major generally sounds 'happy' and minor sounds 'sad'. So basically it has an overall happy sound with an occasional sudden sad turn. I think that's what gives it the slightly sinister feeling...
