I've been watching puig, literally, since his early days at barca b. i remember his influence on barca B then because they were atop the segunda B and the club were super super high on him and thought he was going to be the midfield of the future. Koeman came in and ruined his confidence. Xavi came in and made it worse and it was something you dont expect from XAVI. i couldnt be more happy for him. when he gets back to europe he's going to be going back full of confidence. he deserves his wins.

Puig didn't get enough chance to prove himself he is a good player he is gonna be one of the best
Looking at his performance, he behaves like a classic 10. He might not fit into Barca's 4-3-3 setup. But if he is allowed to freely roam, without worrying about the defense, the best example would be that of a CAM at 4-2-3-1 position, or a 4-3-3 where the midfielders don't just play like interiors, as in current Man City setup ( good example - Bernardo ), he'll do great. He has always been good with progressive passing, carrying the ball forward. His weakness was his defense, tracking back and closing spaces when without the ball. He won't need to focus on those things if he is allowed to focus in playmaking and making forward runs. Hence, i feel IF HE GETS BACK TO EUROPE, he should go to Serie A's top teams, or Premier League in Arsenal or Manchester teams. He has potential. He always had potential.
The key to all this is that the Galaxy also brought in Brugman from Italy at the same time as a DMF to watch Puig's back. This is what helps allow him the freedom to play the way he has. The fact that Brugman was also capable of scoring 2 goals in this game is just a bonus. It also helps of course that Colorado is already out of the playoffs and seem to have given up on the season.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Valencia, Barcelona, Milan, City, Dortmund, Sevilla are the best options.
He made 5 key passes this game (most in a game of his galaxy career so far) ✨

About 3 or 4 times every season Edwards pulls off an incredible play like that. But he's so inconsistent defensively that he's not a sure starter for the Galaxy and is no longer called up by Canada.

Puig is a floater. A coach who is strict on positioning would not like puig. A coach who is open for the playmaker to float around the field (picking up any position) would get the best of puig. That's whu Koeman and xavi's brother was always angry at puig. They have positioning as top priority for everyone.
