Billy has included experience for his game 2 side, Im thinking this is because its a potential decider if NSw get the W, QLD get the W we take the series. Bringing the veterans in is smart play, the experience of Kapewell, Gagai & Kefusi will make for a cool calm camp and lead up to game2. In Billy we trust 🙏

Is it possible to show some old footage of gillies bad kick in his state of origin and the others just to jolt some of us old fellas memories as we like a good laugh too .
there is no way you can convince me fifita hasnt done something to piss off the selectors. capewell is not even close to being in form that warrants origin selection. he averages 55m a game. he has played 79 mins since may 5th. why the fuck are we rushing him in to this squad when we could have fifita (yes, rested this week as a precaution, but still available for selection), fermor, jensen or luki, to name a few. This is a dreadful pick. Hopefully we can still win, but having an absolutely out of form, old plodder like capewell in this team is mind boggling
Well the rumour at the time was DCE wasn’t getting picked because Smith, Slater and Thurston had a problem with him backflipping on his deal. If that’s true than it stands to reason that slater would hold the same standard over fafita.
Also capewell covers centre for you at origin level.
Fafita is slow,.lazy, low work rate and goes missing, Kurt has always lifted for qld, can handle a few positions, we need a utility as proven by the first game
Wally and Gilly are not legends for nothing, their analysis were on point.
