Your video was a real treat! So much jewelry was unknown to me, thank you! The square brooch is so similar to the one Princess Catherine wore to pin her sash.
I have been intrigued by the Kent amethysts and the Australian opals for a long time. So glad you covered those. But you included some pieces I have never noted before. That massive lily brooch of the Queen Mother’s is incredible. This is a well researched video. The history behind these works of art is fascinating.
Queen Elizabeth and her mother might not have been very fond of amethysts, otherwise they wouldn't had sold of Queen Mary's amethyst parure. But Camilla has worn amethysts for several times. As opposed to Queen Elizabeth she also prefers evenig dresses in much more intensive colors. Therefore I think it's very likely that we will see the Kent amethyst also on Queen Camilla, although the dark stones would look terrific with Kate's darker hair too.
Really enjoy seeing all these amazing jewels close up. So beautiful, and wonderful to see them being worn by the late Queen Elizabeth II. I loved the very discreet watches.
Stunning jewelry. The coral & onyx brooch, emerald set, and bouquet brooch really caught my eye. The opal necklace was fabulous except that it was so very large . If the opal was turned sideways it would be more attractive. I can imagine it as a bandeau style tiara also.
E una magnificenza che ci vienepermessodi vedere, capire e sapere in dettaglio la pesantezza delle pietre e chi le ha donate. Bravissimi ! Grazie infinite.
As beautiful as they are, as rare, as expensive….in the end she and no one else who has the privilege of wearing such things can not take them with them. Make your precious gem your soul and it will travel with you.
So thrilling 2 see all the spectacular gems that the late Queen owned most of them, Princess of Wales would b spectacular wearing. I just hope Queen Camilla will be just as generous as the late Queen. Elizabeth, somehow I don't think so 💙🇬🇧💙👑💙
They have plenty of wardrobes at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. Several exhibitions at Buckingham Palace already have shown some of her outfits, like her wedding and coronation gowns or dresses she had worn at important state visits or other events. But I think most of her outfits will never be seen again, as they will be rated as not important enough. Many of Princess Diana's dresses went to charity auctions, but this is unlikely for QEII outfits.
In the 19th century the death of family members happened much more often and even for some more far away members of the family you had to follow the rules of some quite long periods of mourning. Therefore stones like amethysts or garnets were regardes as mourning jewellery - as you wanted at least wearing some color and not always black or white. But these days are over. Most people today die at an old age and these traditions to have a long mourning period have mostly been abolished. In other royal houses, like in Sweden, they have no problem with wearing amethysts and other colorful stones. I see no reason for not wearing amethyst because they were regarded as mourning jewellery.
The pronounciation of French in this video is appalling! Her majesty’s watch was twice made by jaeger le coultre, pronounced Yeager le kultre. Disrespectful on your side not to check the right pronounciation.😮😢

I hope to see that Australian opal on Catherine one day. She has the long elegant neck for it. Its stunning!!

The last bouquet brooch is amazing . And so thoughtful!
I agree! What a wonderful idea to celebrate the Queens jubilee!
🩷💜💙🩵
It is beautiful and part of me thinks its never have been worn in public is a bit disrespectful to its giver.
I really hope we will se the amethyst demi-parure on Catherine, she would look absolutely stunning in them!
Surely, Catherine will owns them when she becomes Queen as the parure is part of Heirlooms of the Crown (passed down from Queen to Queen)

I think that particular Demi parure would overwhelm Catherine.
The last brooch shown is the most stunning design, not just because of the valuable stones. Lovely!
So many beautiful pieces!
The Cartier brooch....I'm drooling here!
I love the emerald necklace!
The watch. A subtle and beautiful thing
The yellow gold emerald necklace and earrings are spectacular!
I agree and I think she used few times cause few times used to wear gold jewels. Sad. So beautiful. May be suites us better 😂😂😂
The coral and onyx brooch is beautiful. A nice change from the multitude of diamond brooches.
A perfect match for the coat.
My favorite
Really enjoy seeing all these amazing jewels close up. So beautiful, and wonderful to see them being worn by the late Queen Elizabeth II. I loved the very discreet watches.
The last brooch is a beautiful and delicate piece. A work of art. I would not wear it for fear of damaging it.
I love opals and am in awe of the necklace and earrings. Wow! Gorgeous.
I could, at least theoretically, see them being converted into a tiara. Wouldn’t that be spectacular?
The Emerald Suite is stunning
Another stunner from you! Keep it up if you can, because it lifts us up and we need that so much. Bless you and thank you.
I love the first brooch. Pink and black. ❤

Very informative. Well done
The opal should be won more often. It is stunning.
Very informative. The Queen sure had/has the most amazing collection. The bouquet brooch is gorgeous.
I love the opal necklace and earrings so beautiful
I wonder if it is heavy and uncomfortable. That would explain it not being worn.
Love the emerald set it's my favorite as it's also my birthstone
Mine too
Thank you

Such a shame the opal necklace has not been seen, that opal is massive.
Nice job
God bless her, Queen Elizabeth II loved her brooches, and she wore the with such dignity
I liked the recreation of the coronation bouquet. It seems like something that would suit Catherine- maybe we’ll see it again!
Queen Adelaide’s diamond brooch is stunning and historical.
Between the diamonds and the sixfold symmetry, it makes me think of a snowflake.
Is that Dame Maggie Smith in the background at 14:35 if so she looks stunning.

I think emeralds look better in yellow gold.
Did Queen Elizabeth choose what jewelry she wore, or did her dresser choose?
In her book, Angela Kelly said she presented a choice of suitable brooches and the Queen made the final decision.
How sad that these exquisite things are just locked away in vaults for decades.
So thrilling 2 see all the spectacular gems

I wonder what happened to all of the Queen's outfits and hats? Are they in a museum somewhere?

Opals are consideres unlucky. Amethysts are linked to mourning and coronation only happened because The Queens beloved Father had died.
Opals were thought to be unlucky unless it was the birthstone of the wearer.
Opals are unlucky if you buy them for yourself!
Opals are only considered bad luck if you buy them for yourself. If they are a gift, they are considered a loving gesture.

Probably because it's an AI speech program.
