Please petition President Biden for clemency for Leonard Peltier whose innocence has been established in courts of law, who has been in prison struggling for us all who wish the injustice system to eventually become a justice system, and has carried this burden for over 47 years, for all of us, brilliantly; while it's tragic :) reality
Do you know anything about his conviction or appeals, or just what you have heard on RUclips? Peltier was convicted by a jury of his peers and has lost NUMEROUS appeals. He then tried to get his life sentences run concurrently, which would have allowed his release after 30 years, but that too was denied. Peltier isn't a "political prisoner." He's a convicted felon.

If you know your American history, you’ll know the American judicial system has always been inferior because of its corrupt racism. We elect presidents whom are impeached and indicted criminals so how you can’t see how naive your comment is simply proves that your immigrant status to us indigenous will always be illegal. @@Ketowski he was tried and convicted decades before restorative justice. The families want nothing more than for him to die in prison. I met all of them years ago at a parole hearing.

It is truly disgusting. what has happen to this man, And his overall people. We need to just be honest and let this man go. I have listened to the podcast, research, and it is so upsetting that we continue to let this man sit in prison. We must treat our Indians and our Native Americans better. We have got to be better people.

It was a useful time
Yes European people who live in Turtle Island under peace treaty should never have even built a jail on land that was never surrendered to them. That treaty stipulates that we would always own the land. That was the only reason we signed that peace treaty that the Europeans wrote in English and we signed with an X apparently. We did not even speak or write English then. But what is clear is that we own all the land forever! There is no such thing as United States. What states united? Who was America Vespucci? An Italian. Not true, I met the Agent who made the arrest back then when he was newer on the beat. The officer told us that IF he knew what he knows now about this case, he would have never made the arrest. That was pretty powerful when he made that statement. I wish I remembered the guys name
