Dan, I wonder if this is Bat Cave in the Lake Lure area? It sounds so familiar to me. I went through this cave once and will never again. Of course it is prohibited now. And yes, alcohol and drug addiction is a very dark place to be. But there's light at the end of the tunnel. I know it! I just have not found my way out to make it last. I can get sober time, then fall back whenever I feel weak I am searching for the strength to make it my way of life. I will never give up, but I'm getting tired. I'm a 67 year old woman who has survived cancer now for 8 years. Why can't I find my way to make sobriety from alcohol my way of life? Thank you for all your encouragement and prayers. 😊
I was so tired of doing things my way I found myself a Pentecostal church. I found everything that I long for. Peace joy and happiness 😊 I pray that you will find that as well 🙏
