I thought this movie was well made, and some of the set pieces were really good, but as much as I love pizza, I couldn't get behind Samira's quest given everything else that was going on. I expected Day One to be more about discovering how attracted the aliens were to noises and figuring out how to work around that limitation. I'd still be interesting in seeing that story. Also, IDK if you didn't realize this or just didn't mention it, but Djimon Hounsou was in A Quiet Place Part II. His character lived on the island found by Oppenheimer and the daughter. He helped them get to the radio station to broadcast the signal from the hearing aids.
The premise of going to get pizza during an apocalypse from a pizza place that in the best case scenario has been closed for days and worst case is totally destroyed was a tough sell. I enjoyed the first two so this was a big let down for me.
As I said in another video, if they’re so attracted to sound how do they not run into each other while jumping thru windows and all the other noise they make. If they’re so sensitive to sound how are they able to pinpoint the protagonist when there is so much noise caused by them running around like crazy? This movie sucked

Ha, no we never remembered he was in Part 2. Even with you telling e now, it's not ringing a bell at all.
