Jesus' commandments aren't the 10 commandments of the old covenant. He's referring to these 2: Love the Lord thy God with all your strength, mind and soul and love others like you love yourself. Jesus fulfilled the 10 commandments. Yes, they are still valuable and honorable but it's not sufficient to just keep the sabbath yet forget to love. Jesus overturned and abolished the sabbath rules of the pharisees. But yeah, it's good to have a day of rest every week. But don't love the Lord on sabbath and on monday yell at a person.

Jesus' commandments aren't the 10 commandments of the old covenant. He's referring to these 2: Love the Lord thy God with all your strength, mind and soul and love others like you love yourself. Jesus fulfilled the 10 commandments. Yes, they are still valuable and honorable but it's not sufficient to just keep the sabbath yet forget to love. Jesus overturned and abolished the sabbath rules of the pharisees. But yeah, it's good to have a day of rest every week. But don't love the Lord on sabbath and on monday yell at a person.
