Don't forget siege, if it weren't for siege we wouldn't have gotten a perfect Optimus,Ironhide, prowl, spinister, shockwave, soundwave(kinda) and much more!
I've seen a fan-mode for this guy as a scorpion. Honestly, if he doesn't get a figure announced anytime soon, in Siege or otherwise, I might just get this guy and repaint him into a Scorponok.
The ‘chicken legs’ are called digigrade, and I like them, they add to the alien-ness of a lot of the movie characters. I hated how AoE make them look freakishly human, especially Drift.
I just LOVE this cute excavator-dude, he has a very simple transformation, nice looking and pretty realistic Constructicon venicle mode and cool robot mode. I think it works really good as G1-ask Scavenger figure with his squarish headsculpt and all green, purple with some black and red paintskin. Who's agreed?
He is somewhat based on the Combiner Wars Scavenger mold. Note the way the shoulders fold back and the waist detaches from the upper torso; it matches CW Scavenger perfectly.
I like it when charactwrs are SUPPOSED to have a headmaster like Hardhead and Brainstorm, I hate it when it with character that DON'T have a headmaster like Optimus Prime.
@@slave7022 oh yeah that's true too, I really liked TR blitzwing and astrotrain's design but it turned me off with the headmaster gimmick, hopefully siege does them right again
not to be confused with "ze little one" who was sacrificed to resurrect Megatron as the Bayverse Constructicons have multiple duplicates of themselves which is kind of strange.
Vust Valeo it's just another reason why Transformers fans aren't huge on Bay's Transformers movies, and it's a reason why his movies get low scores from critics and the audience, and to be fair he has certain Transformers reused with different names with, sometimes, different alt. Modes. Ex. Crankcase=Berserker and Crowbar=Dreadbot
Debating if I should buy Scrapmetal and Rampage now, or wait until more Constructicons come out? I’ll probably make my decision when Hasbro reveals RotF Devastator at a future convention. Update: I caved.
Personally I don’t like the yellow ball joints that show in the front of the vehicle mode. To me it just sticks out like a sore thumb on the black treads, but I love the figure regardless.
What I have get to understand that Studio Series Scrapmetal shares some transformation engineering with GCW Scavenger. And by the looks of it, that seem to be true.
Hey Baltmatrix, that reminds me, when are you going to review that other Devastator figger, Huculies? Its been I think three years sence you review the final two figers for that set.
I managed to find this figure and I enjoyed the figure, though he looks a bit like an autobot I could see lots of custom jobs on this guy such as that one character seen for .001 seconds in the last knight in the junkyard scene... great vid btw
I like it but I hate it when they changed the names. It SCAVENGER. the original CONSTRUCTICON are SCAVENGER, HOOK, BONE CRUSHER, SCRAPPER MIX MASTER and LONG HAUL
This is a Golden year for transformers
So true. Studio Series is beyond expectations great. I love backgrounds as well.
Don't forget siege, if it weren't for siege we wouldn't have gotten a perfect Optimus,Ironhide, prowl, spinister, shockwave, soundwave(kinda) and much more!
It's the *b i g y e l l o w b o i*
No, he's ze little one!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
Transform BOI!!!

Scrapmetal. The guy who was sacrificed by his fellow Constructicons to revive Megatron in ROTF
I'm pretty sure Hightower forms part of the arm and the thumb, while Scrapmetal is the base hand with fingers.

I think he may be "ze little one", that gets sacrificed in the second film to resurrect Megatron.
I got him at walmart a few weeks ago definitely one of my favorite toys from the studio series line.
Instantly one of my all time favs. Love the transformation and alt mode
Already got this guy from my local Meijer. He's a pretty cool figure. Can't wait for the other 7 and complete Devastator.
1:12 perfect example why I don't like the titans return line
kerok66 don't worry, for now that's a thing of the past
Because the heads can get lost?
Austin Hinton yep

This is a nice little figure. Simple, fun and still just cool. And I cannot wait for that Overload figure.
Because of the beastial nature of ROTF Devastator, I'm calling the hand mode paw mode
It be da *YELLOW EVIL EXCAVATOR BOI*
I think he is the VOLVO in ROTF or sacrificed by other constructicons to revive Megatron...kill the little one!
Pretty sure Mixmaster was the Volvo
8:33 I have Rampage, and his really lurched body and movable fingers REALLY make him fun to pose.
scrapmetal: i was torn apart by my fellow constructicons
quake: i lost my head to cats

I mean there's multiple arcees. It's possible some transformers just have to same design - hell, that's true in ton of traffic cartoons too
@@jaydonmagan4694 obvious example: the Blackout and Grindor debacle
He has a scorpion made as well there is a video called 9modes for transformers scrap metal
This figure looks really awesome.
Awesome!! i really appreciate keeping videos under 10 mins...thanks....is hard to sit on a 30 min video most of the time
I don’t know if I will get him I never cared for the look of the movie toys but I am a sucker for a good combiner.
Did anybody else notice that this shares a lot more than you might think with Scavenger from CW? Take a good look...
He reminds me of cw scavenger a lot

BBmetalhead04 good choice, they might not release all 8 as a bundle
@@ix-badsport-xix7433
Oh really?
I can’t wait for mix master
Just to let you know, i saw you trying to make it more clawlike, yes he is only fingers but that is because hightower has the thumb!
And the review of rampage and ptimus 38?
So I’m trying to get back into collecting and I’m trying to decide if these are boys are what I’m going to start with.
I really think hes a great 1 to start with as very fun to combine
Where's his Decepticon insignia? Doesn't appear to have one
I wanna see this in green and purple
Hey baltmatrix and viewers. Where did you get scrapmetal?
Rainyz Nate bigbadtoystore.com
Walmart
Walmart is your best bet
ebay , I found studio series shatter on eBay for cheap
Hey Baltmatrix, that reminds me, when are you going to review that other Devastator figger, Huculies? Its been I think three years sence you review the final two figers for that set.
Well. In case you didnt know, he would be combine with other Constructicon into.... DEVASTATOR!!!! And unfortunately, some will be released in 2020
he didnt act like a decepticon in transformers the last knight he hid with the autobots
I HAVE THE STUDIO SERIES SCRAP METAL AND IT IS AWESOME!
I found Scrapmetal at Walmart and bought it
Why does the description say: get scrapmetal a big bad toy store ?
ROTF Devastator is an abomination. But this mold is better than I expected. Just won't pick any movie bots up anymore.
Did this Decepticon in the Movie? Did he appear in ANY of the Movies?
He appeared when Megatron was being revived in ROTF. He died in the scene he was introduced
Pretty sure it’s a cab not a cockpit
I managed to find this figure and I enjoyed the figure, though he looks a bit like an autobot I could see lots of custom jobs on this guy such as that one character seen for .001 seconds in the last knight in the junkyard scene... great vid btw
Pretty sure for that custom they will use Scrapper since thats the actual model used in the movie
True but scrapper turns into a dozer not an excavator
Spartan_ 1138
Yeah but thats kind of the eternal paradox in the situation
No matter who you choose you are wrong on a different aspect
Leo Rex True they need to make one with this altmode and scrapper’s body, but will they I dono (it would be cool though)
How does the continuous tracks change position when turned into robot
He's cool nice review
No way!
I like it but I hate it when they changed the names. It SCAVENGER. the original CONSTRUCTICON are SCAVENGER, HOOK, BONE CRUSHER, SCRAPPER MIX MASTER and LONG HAUL
Charles Brossett They didn’t change the name, it just so happens to be that scavenger in the movie verse is the gigantic motorcycle from Shanghai
Is it just me or does he remind me of the bonecrusher mold?
your hand mode is wrong
But what do you mean 180 degrees
Sadly, scrapmetal is killed by his buddies to revive megatron
@@nandyk.2026 * slow clap *
Lol 😂 8:17

Is anyone gonna mention that he’s just RID 2001 Grimlock remolded
No he isn’t he just looks similar

Dude make a review of rampage cool
But I can see it
Looks terrible to me. Definitely not for me. The bumblebee movie Optimus is another story.....
If you want a devastator, then you want him
Ok u have had blackout for god knows how long yet u didn’t review him 😡
It's bigger than i thought (thats what she said)....
