    I’ve never heard of this place. Looks like a fun day. We’ve got a place similar just north of L.A. Hungry Valley in Gorman.

    Love your 3rd Gen! What spare tire carrier is that? I think that would be affordable vs a bumper with swing away.

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  5 лет назад

      It was a homemade swing-down carrier I had for a while. Cost about $120 👍🏼

    What is the trailer hitch real wheel carrier you have!? I want one.

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  5 лет назад

      Jake P lol heyhey! Yeah 2in. Not really necessary with the LT now, but all my armor is built around it so I’m just leaving it on

    Nice roof rack. Who makes it?

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  6 лет назад

      Thanks! Some dude in Tijuana fabricated a bunch for my local 4R group. We call them TJ Racks...

      Lol, awesome. Do you have the guys info? Also did you have to re- gear? Im on 265/75R16 with bilsteins 5100 adjustable front and 2906 old man emu rear springs. Not sure how much more tire i can put without body lift.

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  5 лет назад

      I don't have the fabricator's info but hit up Alex Ramirez (@alex_3g4rsocal in IG) and he can get you one. He has a couple to sell right now I believe. I'm on 5.29 gears for my 35s, generally you're ok on stock gears up to 33s but lower is always better as long as you can still drive it on the highway comfortably

    I want to buy or fabricate a roof rack that goes straight on the rails like yours does (no crossbars). Did you buy yours, or make it yourself? Any tips or resources you can share?

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  5 лет назад

      Alfonso Gómez-Arzola it’s actually from a local guy that goes down to Tijuana where a fabricator makes them for us. Are you in SoCal?

    •  5 лет назад

      @@Opt.Offroad I’m in East Tennessee.

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  5 лет назад

      Alfonso Gómez-Arzola oh ok... yeah he doesn’t ship them because it’s waaaay too expensive lol. But honestly they’re pretty easy to make if you can find a local shop to replicate a standard full length Gobi

    Hello Jason! What lockers are you running?

    • @Opt.Offroad

      Hi! Spartan front and Aussie rear, both auto lockers

    • @CornishGoof
      @CornishGoof 6 лет назад

      Nice, love the truck and what you do with it. Do you get any clunks or bangs from them at any time?

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  6 лет назад

      The front is almost undetectable, very quiet clicks around tight corners sometimes. The rear is louder but definitely not unpleasant. The only time it clunks or bangs is when I give it too much throttle around turns, but not enough to completely lock it up. It’s only happened once or twice in the couple years I’ve had them. On dirt they are completely silent and hook up every single time without fail

    Apparently you didn't quite make it. ! If you had a Second Gen. 4Runner you would have made it NO PROBLEM HA...

    • @Opt.Offroad
      @Opt.Offroad  5 лет назад +1

      If you’re referring to the stacked tube obstacle I wasn’t trying to make it bud, just checking it out for fun. You’d have to be an idiot to try that without a fully caged truck. Not to mention I had two young kids in the back seat
