my brother had that exact version of squirm, he bought it from woolworths in a bargain bin for 17 pence in about 1980! lots of shops used to sell cheap american paperbacks in the uk back then, not so much nowadays.
I wish they were still available like that! I’m excited to read it!

I have the same copy of Night Plague by Masterton. I picked it up at my used book store bc i thought the cover was cool lol. I found out it's a 3 book series, one is called Night Warriors i think. Night plague is the 3rd. I heard they're suppose to be pretty good.🙅♀️ i had the same problem with Thriftbooks, they got ridiculous, i spent more time emailing them getting refunds etc, than i did reading lol. Awesome haul! 👍🤓📚
@@angelwalker979 yeah I’ve had so many books show up that aren’t the ones I’ve ordered or they show up totally damaged. I’ll have to find the first in that series. I was thinking of reading walkers by Masterton soon. Thanks!

"This was not done by a dude" … 😂 Packaging is a huge issue. I ordered a lot of books from overseas, from WoB, Abebooks, Thriftbooks and so on, and they always came in just one plastic bag. More often than not, the bag was torn apart, which is to be expected when the package is transported over 5000 miles around the globe. Not even some bubble wrap. It's sad.
@@SixStringSamur4i yeah it’s pretty bad how little they care about the books. I try to only get books that I’m okay with them being bent or beat up.
