Dev Anand and Dharmendra two must handsome stars of Indian cinema. When they were directed by good directors they excelled. Dilip Kumar was a good actor but was not natural he was also stylish. He got more than what was due. It is Amitabh Bachhan who is the most able actor so far, no match. Most natural actors of the Bollywood have been Ashok Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar. Rajesh Khanna was also much hyped who lost his stardom within 5/7 years of his rise. Dev Anand maintained himself real well for a longer period if compared with Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor. He gave more flops but till 1980 his movies had good initial openings and even his flops still recovered costs.

Dharm ji is very generous and kind person. Very down to earth and humble. In the 70s when he was at peak, some of my relatives from UP went to Mumbai to get a glimpse of him. They met a Punjabi servant of Dharm ji and told him that they want to see him and get a picture taken with him. And the very next day they were invited at Dharm Ji’s bungalow. Dharm ji asked them to stay at his bungalow for few days. It was a dream come true for them. They stayed there for a couple days , had delicious Punjabi food and were shocked to see other fans from Punjab were coming and leaving.
