A dear friend of mine, who passed away a couple years ago at the age of 100. He was a Polish/ Russian Jew. He was the cameraman for Walter Cronkite. He filmed so much of our history. He won two Emmy’s. My dear Milton asked and asked questions about Messiah. After a time, the LORD, Messiah saved him. I will never forget his phone call to me, telling me GOD SAVED him. He was born again! Oh how I love Israel and my dearest Jewish people.

God used John’s preaching to bring me to true salvation when I thought I was saved. I hated John as a child and mocked his ministry and the people in his church accusing them of loving John more than God. The Lord then used him to ultimately bring me to my knees in repentance. All praise and glory to God in the highest because I was blind and now I see ❤
First thing, LORD is another name for the Canaanite god, Ba'al. God's name is Yahweh. We are commanded to call upon his name, but when you call upon the LORD, you're calling on Ba'al.
Second, Jews are NOT the Israel of the bible, there is nowhere in the bible where Yahweh changed the name "Israel" to "Jew". Jesus himself called Jews the "Children of the Devil" in John 8:44. In John 8:31, Jesus gets Jews to admit they were never in bondage to any man, but Christians know that the Israelites were captive in Egypt, Assyria, and Babylon. Ye shall know the truth, and the Truth shall set you free.
Jews even admit this fact in their own writings....

@@LoanShoppingExpert Sure, yeah I was living my life for myself. I knew who Jesus was and what He did but it had no impact on my life. I wasn’t sorry for my sins and kept them going. I didn’t even think or consider I wasn’t saved until I realized what I had become. John had a few messages I listened to about self examination and I realized I wasn’t saved because of how I was living. I loved my sin. I loved the darkness. I fit in with the world. I secretly loved porn and lying for my benefit and I loved myself and considered myself a good person. Anyone can look at what I said and say “well duh how on earth would you think you’re saved?” But I really believed I was and I am shook to my core because of how self deluded I was. I was lost. I was an unrepentant sinner who served myself and Satan. I needed our Lord and savior to wash me clean and to take my debt and to beg for his forgiveness and turn from my sin. I needed regeneration and mercy of the highest degree. Johns sermons showed me that. God used the person I hated to bring me to salvation.

That's certainly our prayer for Ben. He's as brilliant as it gets intellectually but the scriptures tell us that mental or physical prowess is actually of no consequence when it comes to spiritual matters. When God gave Zechariah the vision about completing the rebuilding of the temple he was being told they wouldnt complete the job under their own power “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.”. And its the same with Ben when it comes to being born again spiritually. That won't happen under his own "power". The Holy Spirit will have to intervene just as He did for us.
Its therefore our duty, but really more of a privilege, now that thru Jesus we have access to the throne room to ask for mercy for Ben and his family.
I had a Polish friend who was Jewish and he went thru the Holocaust at 17 years old. Long story short he would come to know Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah at about the age of 30.
He told me that coming to the realization Yeshua is the long awaited Messiah doesn't "convert" a Jew.. He "completes" them.
I tell you this because I thought it was profoundly insightful.
Pray that our Lord "completes" Ben. A Jew without the messiah is like a crib with no baby.
Father in heaven, leah and I come into your throne room to ask you for mercy for Ben and his family. There is enough blood🩸at the cross for Ben. There is enough room at the cross ✝️ for Ben. We would gladly move over to make room and sing your praises with Ben some sweet day. You tell us that your mercy triumphs over judgment and that's what we've come to You to ask for. Lord we're asking you for irresistible grace. You can orchestrate divine appointments in Ben's life that You can use to get Ben's attention. He cannot see You father. His eyes are blind. Help him Lord. In Yeshua's Holy name we ask! Amen 🕎 ✝️

The tenor of this conversation is so refreshing. Pastor MacArthur's gracious and loving responses as well as how these two men of differing faiths actually listened and then responded graciously instead of pointing to error and judging. With both respectful even friendly with each other made this worth watching. Great examples

1. There's no proof that those that call themselves Jews are Jews. (Rev. 2:9, Rev 3:9). I heard they do not allow DNA testing. Those that call themselves Jews have not been able to refute the Black Hebrew Israelites claim to being the true Hebrews.
2. MacArthur's blanket endorsement (albeit roundabout) of the actions of Israel is disappointing. He must be able to see that there's no way to get rid of Hamas (even through Israel endorsed and supported Hamas at a point in history).....even if they were able to do so, another group will form. MacArthur's endorsement = the slaughter of the innocent children- which is paradoxical considering his stance on abortion, the war on the unborn as well as his stance on the children.

Man, I love pastor MacArthur. He always gives a biblically founded explanation. He is a blessing to the followers of Christ. The lord has chosen a righteous and mighty man to lead his followers in the sun valley area. I don’t live there but I seek out his videos. The best quality I see is, he’s not boastful or proud. Faith alone was absent for the first 1500 years until the Reformation, which was a Luther invention. Sola fide, Sola scriptura and imputation of Christ's righteousness, were never heard of. Trace history, from the apostles or the early church fathers, you won't find it. The three churches, Greek, Oriental and Roman, all believe that it starts with Grace. Without Grace there is no faith, there must be works that accompany the evidence of faith.

Honestly, I don't know if I could believe except for the witness of the Holy Spirit and the word of God. I think you would believe that the word of God is just that, his word.
The prophet Isaiah would agree with me: "our righteousness is like filthy rags". The point is that we can never attain the righteousness God demands through our works, they are rubbish, the "menstrual rags", the kind of which the prophet Isaiah speaks.
The law of God/Moses was to stop our mouths to any claims of righteousness and show us guilty before God. It's our "schoolmaster" that drives us to faith like Abraham.
As a Christian I will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and yes, Rahab, the harlot. How's that for company at the marriage supper of the "Lamb"?
Are you familiar with the Bible? I repeat, pray for Israel who has gone astray that she may receive her Messiah before she has to mourn for her as Zechariah says in 12:10.

This is the second time I’ve watched Ben interview John. I believe if God would open Ben’s heart to receive the gospel, the amount of people he could lead to Christ would be enormous. I am praying for that right now.

Pastor Mcarthur has been a good and faithful servant. May God give us more time with his wisdom.
I'm sure Ben knows, but for those that don't, Pastor Macarthur was taught and mentored by Dr. Charles Feinberg, who was the Dean at Macarthurs seminary. Jmac described him as "one of the most brilliant and respected men he'd ever known." Dr. Feinberg was a Jewish man studying for 14 years to become a rabbi until he was converted to Christ.
John McArthur is a man of God. Truthfulness, honesty, theological, and definitely my favorite pastor of all time. God bless him and all who have ears to hear. 🙏

MacArthur is a true man of God. He has the largest remaining pulpit which exposits the Bible rather than changing it to please the culture. When the CA government came after he and his church with such a vengeance, I knew he was preaching the true Gospel.

Pastor MacArthur is clear when it comes to the doctrine. We are all truly blessed to have him as a teacher. We must pray for the salvation of the Jews and the world; that they come to faith in Jesus Christ.

MacArthur is kinda old school but as far as pastors go John MacArthur is the REAL DEAL. His theological insights are absolutely mind blowing. If you want sound biblical teaching, then listen to MacArthur. This man is a blessing to our generation. Its going to be a while before another MacArthur arises.

Absolutely! You’ve got to take a good hard look at your own Christianity if you find fault constantly with MacArthur or just hate him for whatever reason.
I don’t think having John MacArthur on is intended to promote Christianity or Calvinism. You could have had Dr. James White on but they had the straw man of Calvinism on. Might as well put Joel Osteen on. Hypercalvinism is cringe and unbiblical.
