shorter shot clock after faces. teams have given up trying to win it and just use a pole at the x to try and force a turnover/bad shot

"teams have adjusted now" Let me rephrase that for you. They are no longer using their FO specialized personnel but instead throwing a D pole in at the X because they see no more use for said FO personnel.
