Village barely has TVs ? It's not true. I live in a one of the most backward area of India. In my village almost everyone has TVs since 90s. Even everyone has smartphones from last 6-7 years except old people, they use feature phones. He doesn't really know about Indian villages. About 15 years ago, there was electricity in our village only for a short time during the day and there used to be so much power cuts. But now there is electricity almost all the time. It is a different matter that sometimes there is a problem in the transformer or other line faults, only then there is no electricity.
