One of the best Cedar Fair parks to me. I think thrill seekers sometimes do themselves a disservice by getting “credits” for mediocre coasters instead of spending more time enjoying the amazing flat rides. The park does have a great lineup of B&M coasters.
This is why I've enjoyed the park more on return trips since I can focus on the quality.
It’s always been a bucketlist park for me! The supporting line up may appear lacking but the rest of the line up just looks amazing
The flats and top coasters carry it.
Excellent review! I was fortunate to go on some of the removed rides over the years such as Bayern's, Skyrider, and Jet Scream but I wholeheartedly admit that the experience smoothed out a lot when Cedar Fair took over and added the new coasters + crew processes. I don't have the details handy but some days the fast pass + is cheaper than others. Can pick a mild weekday and either chance it or get a fast pass + for a discounted rate.
This park can be packed even on weekdays.
Great advice all around! I had utilized most of those tips on my 2019 visit, which wasn't terribly busy. Rain when I arrived midday, and there were no lines at all. The rain got to be too brutal after awhile, so even I left early. 1st full day, I made sure to get all the credits done. 2nd full day, I bought fast lane, so that I could marathon the good ones and hop on the flat rides. On a June Wednesday, the price was only 65 Canadian, around $60 US after tax. Well worth it! I'm not surprised prices have gone up.
This park was slammed most days last year since passes were still rolled over from covid.
This park is absolutely insane for how big its collection is and how overall, the big Canada park is a Cedar Fair monster. But the collection could be better, definitely focusing more on quantity than quality and I think it should focus more on quality. They have 3 absolutely fantastic B&Ms but after that is one of the biggest drop offs ever, and almost every coasters here isn't actually a "good" coaster. Boomerang, Volare, SLC, bad woodies, this park needs some good modern stuff and a modern Mack launch would be fantastic.
I agree more mid-range coasters would go a long way to helping, but the flats do compensate for me.
Take out Flight Deck And Time Warp. They could build another top tier coaster with that land.
@@PLUMMAxX me want a proper GCI or RMC on that Flight Deck/Time Warp land.
Another spot on review. I'm so happy I got here for the first time 3 weeks ago, I can't wait to come back and do the flats and skip the vekomas. I've been super fortunate to get to so many new parks this year, including 6 new CF parks. CW ended up as my overall #3 CF park behind CP and KD. I really love KD especially for their top 2.
Glad you enjoyed the park.
I rode time warp on a whim last weekend and I don't know if it was the tighter clearances due to the cold weather or the puffy clothes and hat I was wearing but it was actually... Fun? I hadn't been on it in a decade and it was like... Not painful?
Glad I'm not the only one who likes it.
lol I’m the same way. I’ve never found it painful or understood the hate.
Same I like it too lol
Solid review.
CW is my home park, been going there since '83.
Flat rides are where it's at after all these years once you've ridden the B&M's many times.
The flat rides really help compensate for the coasters.
I like how they added Frontier Canada in 2019 because that was one of their original plans when they first built the park and they were slightly criticized foe an American owned park in Canada not having enough Canada represented within it. Maybe they should focus their detailed attention to the waterpark next and give a Canadian seaside theming of some sort like Newfoundland or Nova Scotia.
The mountain cliff jump was a nice touch.
I haven't been here since 2000, when I was in high school (I know, aging myself there). I'm happy to see the park has improved since then, and there's more and better rides. I'll probably wait a few more years before going again, for when my son's old enough to experience some of the bigger rides. Thanks for the review!
You're welcome!
before i go on, I must nerd out as of now, backlot is the only roller coaster in Canada with a launch
and another fun fact, canadas wonderland contains over a quarter of all Canadian roller coasters
I went to this park this year for the first time, without fast lane I got ten roller coasters and was on five different flat rides, the park had the atmosphere of a beautiful nature park, with a mix of thrill and a tiny bit of disney like charm, I cannot tell you how much I want to go back to this park, not just to ride the rest of the rides, but to redo the ones I loved, It was my favourite park before I went and going only solidified that
It's shocking Canada doesn't have another launch coaster.
@@CanobieCoaster its one of the reasons that I'm looking forward to the new coaster, I know it wont happen soon but I hope they get a big multi launch coaster
3:50 lol amusement insiders and surya kadam just stroll on by
Didn't recognize them, whoops.
And there was a defunct stand up coaster that Canobie Coaster would say:
The now defunct stand up coaster was an underrated attraction. The drops and hills had shocking airtime, especially for a stand up. The vertical loop and helix had nice force to them. A lot of people found it uncomfortable, but I found it tolerable outside of...
the trick track (Skyrider).
Canobie Cubby? I love your channel so much. I’m drinking, apologies. Your CANADA’S WONDERLAND review is currently playing on my radio in the kitchen, and your 17,000 Subscriber (!!!) live chat is on in my bedroom. You and Airtime Thrills - The only coaster RUclipsrs that matter.
Glad you like it!
Extra tip: Be aware on rainy days that for some of the larger and faster rides, it can hurt! If it's raining hard enough, you're going to get pelted with tiny little needles of pain!
I will happily take that if the rides have shorter waits. My fear on rainy days is that a park will close early.
Stellar review and solid top 3 coaster lineup, but the standout attraction is that 1.36 USD/CAD exchange rate. Almost makes the border hassle worth it.
It does make the cost of things more palatable.
I love the ride collection at this Cedar Fair Park from the North.
Soaring Timbers reminds me of a Roll-O-Plane, but with more passengers and a bit more extreme.
Bucket List Park for sure.
Phillies over Astros in 6 BTW
I hope the Astros lose.
I’ve only been once, on US Memorial Day in 2018 and that was absolutely the right decision. I was able to ride every roller coaster and what I believe to be the only cycle of the day on sledge hammer. I was able to leave the park by 5:00 or so to make the 5+ hour drive home. Got multiple rides on the top three roller coasters at the time (leviathan, behemoth, and vortex) and rode pretty much every ‘unique’ flat ride. Highly recommend going on a US holiday during the school year.
Nice!

Not wanting to leave kids out, Silver Streak is a Fuhdjuuu….
Not wanting to leave kids out, Silver Streak is a Junior Vekoma Suspended coaster
You must’ve ridden silver streak one too many times my friend 😂
Thanks, I'll have that edited.
@@CanobieCoaster no don’t! I think it’s funny
Canada's Wonderland is really a great Cedar Fair park. I first visited in 2009, and while I loved it back then, I've been enjoying it more and more as I kept visiting. Cedar Fair has really made the park very beautiful, given it some great rides (flat rides and roller coasters), and just ensured that it lives up to its full potential. I'm glad Cedar Fair bought this park, because if Paramount continued to operate this, this park would have been a complete mess and a half. Cedar Fair investing into Canada's Wonderland as they are is amazing, and I hope they continue to invest in really good rides moving forward. Roller coasters still isn't the strongest, but their three B&Ms make up for it, and their flat ride collection has to be the best in the world.
Crowds is DEFINITELY AN ISSUE HERE. As someone who has Canada's Wonderland as their home park, I can definitely say that this park can get crowded very easily and is very popular. I mean in 2019, Canada's Wonderland got about 3.96 million visitors. That's more than the flagship park, Cedar Point, making Canada's Wonderland the most visited seasonal Cedar Fair park, and one of the most visited parks in North America overall, which is ridiculous. Their operations I can also say is very good. Their operations are at least between a minute or a minute and a half, and sometimes faster, but most of the time, they've kept it between this time frame, at least for more of their major rides. I've waited what looked like long lines, but really, the lines move very fast, especially for their B&Ms. I don't stand in one place very long, and sometimes, I move through half the line faster than what I expected.
In terms of their other coasters, I don't like Flight Deck, but I ride it just to have fun for how terrible it is. Time Warp just plain sucks for me. Silver Streak is actually not that bad for me, but it definitely has a rattle, but I wouldn't say it bangs my head. Their wood coasters are very rough, but that's what makes them fun for me, although Wilde Beast got a lot more retracking in the recent years, so it isn't as rough as it used to be. Dragon Fyre is one of the better Arrow Dynamics custom loopers, and maybe it's because I am taller and don't bang my head, but those transitions can be a bit jarring. Vortex, top tier Arrow Dynamics suspended coasters, which I hope S&S and Canada's Wonderland can still maintain for a long time. The Bat, again because I am taller, I don't find it too rough, except for the fact that I black out too much on this ride. Backlot Stunt Coaster, great family launch coaster, and is much more forceful than you think, although you will slide around in the car, because the transitions are pretty abrupt, but I wouldn't say rough.
There really is no other competition in terms of amusement parks, except for like Wet n' Wild Toronto and Marineland, but let's face it, Canada's Wonderland is so dominant, that I wouldn't even consider any of those parks major threats.
The crowds this park attracts are daunting, but it makes sense why it happens.
Just wanted to chime in on the cheapest/best way to experience the whole park: the
Cost of a season pass and two nights at a cheap hotel or Airbnb near the park can be comparable or less than two days of regular admission and Fastlane+, which gets you three whole days at the park, with in and out privileges to eat at the multiple interesting ethnic restaurants located within walking distance of the gate. You will spend more time in lines, but the park is big enough that's it's nice to be able to take it slow, at least at my age. I live an hour away on public transit so it's all advice for people who aren't me 🙂
That's a fair point. I like to have 2 days at this park if possible simply due to its size.
I am very happy and proud to say that Canada's Wonderland is my home park as well as one of my first employers.
I have been visiting Wonderland every single year since 1990. That was the year I became an enthusiast. With the exception of the few years I worked at the park I have had a season pass every year since 1991.
I still enjoy visiting the park, however, I do not get as excited as I did when I was a teenager. I also get nostalgic and a little sad because two out of five of my favourite rides (my most favourite and beloved Jet Scream, and Skyrider) as well as Orbitor were removed.
But Canada's Wonderland has given me many memories, smiles, laughter, and learning skills that I will continue to love and support them.
Glad you have many memories there.
hey, I've been going since '92 ~ it is awesome to see how it's grown/changed over the years. I do really miss the Days of Thunder 4D ride though.
@@MrFlubbergem that's great to hear 🙂. It is nice to see the park grow and change. But there are a few things I really miss and wish they did not change/remove.
Days of Thunder was fun. It was also funny watching all the seats move in synchronization.
Yea I went on a day where there was projected t storms days in advance and 90 degree weather. The result was 15 minute waits for The B&Ms. I only stayed for 6 hours and got 6 rides on Leviathan, 2 on Behemoth, and rode a bunch of other attractions as well. Saying we got lucky is an understatement!
Nice!
Following up a B&M hyper with a B&M giga just seems insane, but everyone seems to like them.
It worked well.
Even though I've never actually been on the Europe top scans the reason why I think shockwave is the best is because It goes really fast so that makes it an intense ride and the hangtime you get on it is pretty cool especially since shockwave has the Mondial restraints to keep you in place
That's fair.
Most food places at Wonderland are average but some are really good. Roadside Chicken and Lazy Bear Lodge are amazing.
The lines usually deter me, but good to know.
Hey, Canobie Coaster! La Ronde is also located in the same country as Canada's Wonderland!
But a difference province.
Leviathan is fun !
Behemoth is great too.
Vortex has been my favourite for 25 years
Leviathan is my favorite there.
Canobie coaster I'm glad you like those intamin looping starship rides but I think I would like lumberjack better because lumberjacks restraints are much more comfortable and it does have really interesting hangtime
I prefer the starships, but Lumberjack does have more comfortable restraints.
I'm excited to try shockwave I was gonna go on it last time I went to Canada's Wonderland but I was a bit nervous to but I'll definitely go on it next time
It's a ton of fun.
Shockwave is definitely my most favorite mondial ride It's very fun like the way it flips you and the hanging upside down feeling which might be scary to some people but it's not scary it's just like on riptide I highly recommend it
Check out Skater overseas if you like Shockwave.
I’m 27 now. I’ve been to cedar fairs I’ve been to multiple major theme parks over the years, I don’t know why. Canadas wonderland is Always the most fun without question
It's a fantastic park.
by the way I know not everyone finds time warp tolerable but it does look fun because of the hangtime on those 2 barrel rolls its really awesome especially since you have a cage protecting you
It definitely looks fun.
I went into flight deck expecting a headache and it was a lot more fun than I expected. No headache whatsoever but hopefully that's not a one-off
Glad you like it, but I find it too rough.
Canada’s Wonderland is my home park, as I like about an hour south of it. I’ve been going since I was a kid, and I loved this place. I do agree they need some more great coasters to add smoothen their lineup, but I do agree that the unique collection of flats doesn’t make it seem so bad. If their next coaster is what I think it is, then this park is gonna have a Top 5 like no other in North America. Like, an Arrow Suspended Coaster in a park’s Top 5? Absolutely unheard of.
But yes, I do agree the crowds are obnoxious. I visited there last summer as an outing for my church program, and the big three had consistently hour-long lines. But the operations do make up for it - absolutely top notch.
Honestly, I don’t think there’s any way to split up those crowds, though. Canada’s Wonderland is the biggest theme park in Canada… and the only really “good” one. Marineland looks like a ghost town, La Ronde is constantly getting trashed on, Galaxyland closed Mindbender, and Playland is just too far away. So… Canada’s Wonderland it is.
I can only see the crowds dropping if Marineland gets bought out by a bigger corporation - because that thing is on the chopping block. I wouldn’t want to lose Dragon Mountain - that thing is a one-of-a-kind experience. And La Ronde isn’t going anywhere. Let’s say SeaWorld comes in and saves Marineland. It has so much land that can be used, so they could build absolutely wild coasters to finally give Canada’s Wonderland a run for its money.
We’ve seen what SeaWorld can do. If they come in and transform this place onto the Busch Gardens of the north, this’ll make Niagara Falls an ever more worthy tourist destination than it already is, and would make a decent rival park to Canada’s Wonderland - which is about an hour and a half north of Marineland.
That’s the only way I can see the crowds being dealt with - is if another park shows up and gives Canada’s Wonderland a bone to pick with. But I still love this place, and I get excited every time I go back there, but these are just my own thoughts.
- TheRealDominator
I get why the park draws big crowds. I enjoy my time there, especially because of the big 3 and flats.
I've been about 4 times this year already and I'm planning to brave it this Sunday. Easy when you're less than 2 hours away and you've got Platinum passes.
Best of luck!
Yeah it's pretty amazing and I bet you get butterflies in your stomach when you experience hangtime the same feeling that you get when you go down a drop on a roller coaster
They feel different to me.
I was just wondering, since you always seem to know so much about the flatrides (the manufacturers and such), is there any site you use to gain this information or do you just personally know these things?
amazing video btw, hope to visit this park one day!
Flatrides.com and familiarity from traveling has helped.
I wish we had this parks cool flat rides at other Cedar Fair parks
Me too.
I know it will never happen, but imagine a RMC Minebuster! That would be so epic.
It would.
I personal love the mighty spine buster. Sure it hurts but i disagree on it being lack luster, that coaster has suprising air time on the drop and alot of g force espeacially when you go in the tunnel.
My favorite coaster is vortex. Kinda chicken to go on levianthan, yukon striker and bethon. For me its the insane drops. With yukon i dont like when they make you wait before you drop i still like to go on both yukon and leviathan. I have been on a drop tower before so i hope i can handle them.
A drop tower is far worse than the drops on their big 3 coasters.
My favorite part about dragon fire is the strong positive gs on the two vertical loops I know you like hangtime canobie coaster but you know I'm the kind of guy who loves positive gs
My favorite part too.
I actually have this place of cedar point in my rankings. Cedar point may house higher-quality coasters but as far as atmosphere, operations, and overall experience go, Canada's wonderland is the clear winner imo. Most of cps b&ms ran 1-2 trains the 2 days i was there, Valravn being the only one I saw always running three trains. The only other place the point beats cw is in food, but its not quite enough to overcome the top tier flat rides, top 4, atmosphere etc :)
I take Cedar Point in most categories except weather policy and flat rides.
Canada Wonderland is clearly the best amusement park in Canada, but it's not worth riding any coaster beyond their top seven, which include the 3 B&Ms; Vortex, Back Lot Stunt Coaster, Dragon Fyre and Wilde Beast. Canada Wonderland also has the world's best flat ride collection too, if you're into that kinda thing, but no flat ride at Canada Wonderland is as good as the Beast at Playland in Vancouver, which opened before it's clone in the U.S. (at least according to the last time I checked; by now there are likely even more than just one clone).
I agree re the food: I did subway there too because it seemed to be the best option, despite the fact that there's a Subway directly east of the entrance to the park across the width of the parking lot with exactly the same food, but without a 100% markup. There's also a subway in the mall across the street from the hotel I stayed at which is the closest hotel to the park.
I love Canada Wonderland, but for coasters overall I prefer Cedar Point, since my top 7 at Cedar Point are Steel Vengeance, Millennium Force, Gatekeeper, TTD (which doesn't count since it's defunct) Raptor, Maverick, Magnum XL-200; Rougarou
The closest two parks I've visited (within the past 4.5 years) I can compare the quality of its best coasters to imo would have to be Six Flags Great Adventure, (assuming El Toro is operating, which it isn't, but it's not dead yet) which are El Toro; Nitro; Jersey Devil; Kingda Ka, Medusa; Green Lantern; Batman.
The next closest park re quality of coasters I've visited (within the past 5 years) is SFMM where my favourite coasters are Twisted Colossus; X2; Riddler's revenge; Wonder Woman Flight of Courage (which I'll include because I've ridden it which I haven't but because it's at SFMM now and Ive also ridden Jersey Devil so I know what it's like); Tatsu; Viper; Full Throttle; Scream
With these comparisons of each of the aforementioned parks's top seven coasters, it's clear that Canada Wonderland is outshone by Cedar Point; SFGA, as well as SFMM. However: Canada Wonderland beats all parks I've visited except Cedar Point for two best coasters in the park, imo, if not three. I concur that Canada Wonderland has a top heavy coaster selection and also that it's extremely crowded even during weekdays
What helps this park compared to other top tier parks is the flat ride depth, the operations, and the presentation.
20:09 it definitely is. it may not look too scary from the bottom, but when you’re up there it looks way higher. I think it’s even scarier than any of the roller coasters
I had an advantage on the one at Mountain Creek. My vision is so poor I didn't have a true sense how high up I was without glasses.
You know I like it that shockwave has more laterals than upside down moments that definitely makes the ride for me I know some people like shockwaves upside down parts but everyone has their own own opinion about shockwave
I like how chaotic it is.
I think flight deck is fun in my opinion I mean that's very nice of you to advise some people about skipping flight deck but there are some people that actually enjoy it and lots of people have different opinions
I know I'm not the only one who hates Flight Deck. I'm glad you like it, but I find it way too rough and uncomfortable.
@@CanobieCoaster that's ok not everyone has to like the same thing
I'm proud of the park as my home one. I have so many favorite rides it's ridiculous. Glad you enjoyed your time at our park. Wonderland is always busy. Really looking forward to checking out the new restaurant and the 2 new rides for next year.
I've only had quiet days if I go on rainy days.
Hey canobie coaster you know I watched your video and I totally agree with you flight deck would be more enjoyable if it received those new vest restraints but I'm not sure when flight decks gonna receive them
I hope it happens.
Honestly I disagree with silver streak being a bad ride, I’ve ridden it about 7 times this season, and the only critiques I have was out of the staffs control as it kept breaking down during my mom and i’s night ride visit. We always go back row because it’s a bit more forceful. And I love mine buster especially at night it’s insanely fun but I wish it had stronger airtime. Back row of ghoster coaster I actually did get a pop of airtime, and even tho it’s a kiddie coaster it’s still fairly thrilling on the first drop
Glad you don't hate Silver Streak.
@@CanobieCoaster yah! My moms favourite because she doesn’t like big drops
The best thing about thunder run is going inside the mountain and seeing the dragon
That is a nice touch.
It's still busy on a rainy day, went last year, rain was on and off all day, lines were long everywhere.
This park almost always draws crowds.
My favorite thing about windseeker is it feels like being on an airplane and you can see the cn tower when you're on it
The view is fantastic.
By the way the other reason why I think the bat at canada's wonderland will be perfect as my first looping coaster is because once you drop you go through a cobra roll and that's perfect for people who've never been on a roller coaster with inversions before
I'd recommend trying something that's all forwards first.
You know watching videos and on ride povs of rides hangtime looks fun I like to call it the hanging upside down feeling cause that's basically what it is
Pretty much.
Silver streak is basically the miniture version of flight deck in kidsville and it's not that uncomfortable just keep your head back and you'll be fine it worked for me when I rode silver streak and its better than taxi jam cause taxi jam requires you to go on with a kid which is very frustrating
Wasn't a fan of that one.
Yeah that's ok we all have different opinions and it's good that the bat doesn't have those bulky restraints that flight deck has it has the same restraints as vortex
I wish Flight Deck's restraints went obsolete.
The other great thing about riptide at Canada's Wonderland is it gets you wet by raising the fountains which is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day
True!
Ok, the single riders line is almost always short, but they only put in about 1 person from the single riders lane per 3 carts. They only use it if there are empty spaces, usually very rare.
Also, on time warp, once my feet slipped so I had to grab on for dear life as I can't reach the next steps and the forces stopped me from going back on that step.
That's fair and what a single rider line is for.
You know I'm guessing the reason why some people think silver streak is a bit rough is because it has metal seats so maybe they could add some padding to make it more comfortable
It was both a head and back banger.
I was a bit disappointed by Tundra Twister tbh, I think I only got one or two full flips on my cycle. Still a fun ride though, especially given the location right up against Yukon Striker.
Interesting. Sounds like the program may not be the strongest like Soaring Timbers.
By the way electro spin from Carowinds it is pretty cool but it goes really slow and it has wierd hangtime but shockwave 100% better I love the hangtime I love the positive forces it's a very good top scan ride
Both are great.
Would you like to go to Canada's Wonderland again?
Yes
You know some people are suggesting that they should've removed flight deck instead of orbiter and you know what I can somewhat agree with that cause I was gonna go on orbiter it wasn't rough at all and even though it didn't have seatbelts it had the spaceship style carriges to keep you in place during the ride especially since it went really fast
I wouldn't shed a tear if Flight Deck were removed.
Top gun is super underrated.
My Top 3 favorite rides that are manufactured by mondial are riptide shockwave and soaring timbers
Nice!
I love lumberjack even though it sometimes gets stuck upside down which luckily never happens to me
It usually operates as intended.
By the way even though silver streak is a bit rough because of the metal seats alot of people say It's much smoother than flight deck because it glides smoothly
Being smoother than Flight Deck isn't hard to do.
how do you flip it with the paddles do you move your body back or forth or do you use the paddles
I needed to do both; the paddles can only get you so far, but once you get that second flip it becomes automatic (and fast)
Both, but you need to do it in rhythm.
You know what maybe I should try tundra twister I know there's an amount of people that will be like no way I am not going on that that's completely nuts well it doesn't look that scary and it does seem like an intense ride so I'll give it a shot
I can't wait for that ride.
To ride, what do you think about those two B&M hyper coasters, Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland, and Shambhala at PortAventura?
Enjoy both
Hi! Am planning to visit Canada's Wonderland from abroad in late october this year (probably last week of october), any tips for me? Would it be recommended to visit in this period? Thanks!
Know the park may be busy, so the skip the line pass may be a worthwhile investment.
@@CanobieCoaster Thanks for the reply! Is october usually very crowded at Canada's Wonderland?
By the way canobie coaster some people are saying riptide is a bit rough but I don't think it is because Mondial makes very smooth flat rides
Some find hangtime uncomfortable, but I like it.
You know I must say shockwave is definitely the best Mondial ride so I'm gonna rate it 10/10 it's just awesome
I love top scans.
You know I don't know why some people say silver streak is a bit rough because I mean yeah it does have metal seats but it does run very smooth especially since it's a family ride
It doesn't track as well as rides of similar height.
You know I can see why some people dislike time warp those turns are pretty janky so yeah I think they should've built it more properly but I think it looks fun and the hangtime on those 2 barrel rolls is awesome especially since you have a cage protecting you
Not many people find that ride tolerable.
Time warp is awesome
You know I think mondial top scans are awesome I like how intense they are it's much better than the kiddie flat rides in the planet snoopy and kidsville section and in my opinion I think shockwave and sol spin from Knott's Berry farm are much better than electro spin from Carowinds and the Europe top scans
I wish there were more in North America.
Yeah I think hangtime is fun it's just like airtime but you go upside down and I have a question do you get that weightless feeling when you experience hangtime
It can. Sometimes you just fall. Other times you get more like inverted airtime.
You know it would be good if canada's wonderland and other cedar fair parks still had the intamin looping starship ride but because jet screams restraints were painful and uncomfortable and some people found the ride scary that's why they removed jet scream
I like those looping starships myself.
Canobie coaster I have a question about psyclone does it go upside down
No
By the way I just wanna remind all of you that the way that time warp keeps you from falling is the shoulder padding not just the cage restraints that's what keeps you in place when you're on time warp
You definitely won't fall out.
I don't know why but some people think drop tower is overrated but I think it's still a good attraction I mean it always has full capacity
I like it.
By the way I know some people think shockwave doesn't belong at canada's wonderland because it's more of a cne ride but I think it was smart for canada's wonderland to add that ride because it adds alot to the park
I think it fits well.
Could you try and do a video on the assessability that they offer at Wonderland, I know quite a bit as I am a seasons pass holder, as well as a person with a disability and can she give you some really good advice to share with others
Sorry, but I don't have enough knowledge of the system to make an educated video on it. Likewise, I wouldn't have the appropriate footage to go along with a video like that. I'm glad the park is accomodating though!
Canada‘s Wonderland is my home park and I’ve always noticed that the longest lines in the park are rides like the fly, thunder run, and especially wonder mountain guardian because all the little kids can ride them. Those rides are usually about a two hour wait.
Doesn't help they have lower capacities too.
I think actually I'll start with Dragon fire first Dragon fire is a good starter looping coaster since it's less intense than the others
That's fair!
just an FYi The season pass does not include partking it's an additional cost ($75.00 for the summer season - there is an additional charge for Sept December )
Good to know! I always get platinum since I typically visit a few Cedar Fair parks.
Fun fact: at 0:51 you can see the Marine Land S&S drop tower in the background
Yup! Makes sense since Sky Screamer has a great view of the Falls.
By the way the fly at Canada's Wonderland it doesn't just have laterals it also has airtime too I think
I didn't get airtime the times I rode it.
I really enjoy Time Warp tbh
Me too.
You know I think mondial makes the best restraints like the first mondial ride I went on was soaring timbers and seeing it made me a bit nervous I was like oh my that looks scary but once I rode it it was actually really fun I felt really secure on it so yeah mondials restraints are the best
I'm not a fan how tight their seats can be.
You know Shockwave is really fun I don't why some people think it's scary it might look scary but it's really not it feels like flying basically and those flips offer really good laterals
It is a pretty intense ride.
If some of you people think shockwave is rough I think your wrong because I've watched videos of people riding shockwave and I can see that there's no Headbanging so shockwave is obviously very smooth
Yes, it is smooth. Just wild.
Canobie coaster is windseeker a safe ride Cause some people want it removed just because they think it's unsafe
It's safe. It just doesn't run in wind.
You know lumberjack is basically jet scream except it's a better version of it because it has more comfortable restraints and it has better hangtime
Lumberjack definitely has better restraints.
It's interesting that when you look at psyclone you think it goes upside down but it doesn't really it goes pretty close though
Not quite.
Cedar Fair purchased Canada's Wonderland in 2006. Did many like the flat rides and the 14 roller coasters at the park?
Most loved the flats.
Usually at drop tower the say 5 4 and drop you you must have had someone rood on the ride with you
Possibly!
What year did they opened this Park? And I just wanted to know ok?
1981
Oh ok
I think dragon fire is very fun it's not as rough as flight deck flight deck is very rough and yeah I know some of you think yukon striker should've replaced flight deck and time warp instead of skyrider but here are my reasons why I think Yukon striker replacing skyrider was a good decision one skyrider was much more rough than flight deck and time warp two it was a stand up roller coaster and stand up roller coasters are kinda uncomfortable and three they needed space to build Yukon striker and skyriders plot of land had lots of space
I much prefer Dragon Fyre to Flight Deck.
How many parks, currently in the Six Flags chain, in the Cedar Fair chain, and other properties, had for a period or for years a rough coaster lineup?
Examples:
I can't give an exact number since it depends on perspective, but Elitch Gardens was a Six Flags park with a bad coaster lineup.
