This video is part 2 of our vanlife road trip in the South of France. In Part one, We started the trip in part one, in a small town called Gorbio, which is close to Menton and Monaco. We then went to Monaco, drove around the F1 race track, went camping on the French coast, and explored Gorge Du Verdon. After our time in Provence, we drove south again and photographed flamencos in Camargue and ended the trip in a small surf town called Bidart.
I hope this video gives you some great ideas for places to explore and enjoy in France. We did everything pretty quickly, but I recommend taking your time and enjoying each of these places for a few days at least.

Vultures have been making a strong come back in France. They used to be hunted and shot, due to their bad reputation, people thought they killed live animals which they almost never do. In fact, they help farmers because nowadays if you got a sick sheep or goat, you have to bring it to the abattoir to be properly incinerated, you can't dispose of it yourself. So it costs money. But the law also authorizes you to leave that animal to known vulture spots, as they will take care of the carcass very quickly. So it's a win-win situation. You can see vultures in the Verdon, but also in the Tarn gorges, and all over the Alps as well, I've seen many in Ecrins or Belledonne. Once I was high on a peak, and vultures were circling below me on the same peak, I was overlooking their circle, it was amazing.

That poor German girl probably tried telling the goat a German joke. And every knows Germans have as much humor in them as they have nice sounds in their language: none! The French goat was just expressing her lack of amusement this "chleuh" lady. 😁That's valid for Austrians too 😉 Or maybe the German girl put the wrong cheese in her sandwich. 😱

What are the cost expenses like?

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply here! So in total we spent just under €1000 on this trip. Gas was very pricy at this time plus we the airbnb at the end of the trip was a few hundred of that. So of course it should be cheaper than this normally. Happy travels Louistar :)
