Leonard: This spot that no one else can sit in only exists because despite your objections I bought this couch. Me. So explain why that change was bad and this change was good. Sheldon: Um... Amy: You don’t need to explain yourself to him. Sheldon: I don’t need to explain myself to you! Amy: You’re sick of his nonsense and ready to move in with me. Sheldon: Keep the table. We don’t use that space! Amy: Damn it, I got cocky.... You did your best Amy..... hehehehehe!!!!!
It's not a retcon, it's an upgrade. Yes, technically Sheldon's spot predates Leonard but if you look back at the episode where they meet for the first time he's sitting in a fold-up lawn chair. Any reasonable person would recognize and understand that a leather sofa is a significant improvement over a fold-up lawn chair. Therefore, your argument makes no sense. Leonard's point that his change was a net positive still stands.
This show was meant to be about nerds, yet they own devices like a Dell XPS laptop and an Apple iPad. They dropped the ball on the main premise from the very start. In reality they would be using desktop PC towers at least. Potentially running some variation of Linux if they really wanted to go hard on the stereotype route.
Actually, Sheldon is very smart. He has an eidetic memory, and he has brilliant theories, maybe. What he lacks is wisdom, employing the smart brain properly
LOL You are rather not smart, mistaking intelligence for emotional maturity and development here. the whole point of this show is that it's about the nerds, who are all very smart but lack experience and knowledge about women and romantic love. especially Sheldon since he clearly has some type of autism. even if the creators and writers didn't want to diagnose him on the show in a straightforward manner, it's pretty obvious. He is a genius but lacks emotional and social skills/ development -that's what makes it funny, and that's the whole shtick of this sitcom. so your comment is actually foolish. you are the one who doesn't understand what is what.
“Damn it, I got cocky.” Nice try, Amy. Hahahahahaha!
😂😂😂😂😂the look on Sheldon's face 😂😂😂
As Penny sits there on the couch nodding in agreement! 😂
Love that line..lol
Amy deserved that for not taking Leonard's side, you know, the REASONABLE SIDE!
I love that look Sheldon gave Amy at the end. Took him a bit to realize she actually was manipulating him.
'damn it, I got cocky!' - was seriously delivered brilliantly by Mayim! 😂🤣
Penny nodding when she says i got cocky is best part
It is really surprising that someone like Sheldon didn’t get AppleCare for his tablet
hilarious scene. Amy was moving too fast for Sheldon and he chickened out! xD
I love how Amy’s worldly Innocence is counterpointed by her relationship deviousness.
The 'damn it, I got cocky' delivery was great thanks to all the swaying leading to it.
He's not that kind of smart. You might want to give him a hint. 😂🤣
I love Penny nodding at the cocky Amy comment
She’s so good.

One of my favorite quotes 😂
Anywhere Sheldon turns, there's a manipulator 😆
Keep the table, we never use that space anyway.
Omg Amy : damn I got cooky 😂😂😂😂
Its always nice to see lenny get the best of pinhead shelly and his puppet lamey
Who you callin' pinhead?
Manipulation in manipulation!😅
Funny how Amy is the same as Blossom.
She does treat Sheldon like her brother Joey!!!!
😂😂😂😂
Amy tried 😂😂😂😂
Well played Amy :)
Omg Sheldon umm 🤨 😂😂😂😂
2:19 Look at Amy
Sheldon is so cute here 💞
She is a neurologist.

Happy Birthday 🎉
@CrimsonBreaker1 Thank you
@@sweetysavvy Thank you
I want a relationship similar to Sheldon and Amy's!
There is a grammar mistake in the video description. It should say "manipulating" (not manipulation)
There’s several grammar mistakes in your comment as well professor.
@@PhookYooTell yourself that it should have said "there are". Learn how to write first.
@@PhookYoo You know it should say "there are" and not "there's", right? You actually made mistakes haha
@syedhaider1675 Is it changed now? I don’t see the mistake you’re referring to, after reading the current description.
@@Puggalugyes they fixed it :) They acknowledged it with a heart ❤️
I am pretty sure that was his spot even before the sofa
They retconed the story again didn’t they 😑

It was funny the first time

Yeah, you're thinking way too much about this.
@@eclectica1 Heh .. They are not far from the truth though. (that coming from a very long time Nerd) 😆👍
Computers are too big and wouldn’t be easy to navigate around.
lol 😂
His dad in 94 at the age 50
What???
Sheldon and amy get married have ...
FIRST
(I Miss Yall On Netflix)
And why exactly is that something to brag about?
Further proof, if you need it, that the ability to remember everything does not make Sheldon smart.
Actually, Sheldon is very smart. He has an eidetic memory, and he has brilliant theories, maybe. What he lacks is wisdom, employing the smart brain properly
He IS smart, just not in the emotional department. There's a bunch of different intelligences and Sheldon's focuses on the non-emotional ones
@@pentevlog1499in other words, he’s lacking in the emotional intelligence quotient factor of life
This is more a lack of maturity than intelligence.....
