I bought two Paddington Bears for Christmas, for children £20 for the two and they are genuine bears . Farm Foods is great, we bought a huge bag of Basmati Rice and an equally large bag of Chicken breast cubes. With a large low fat mince for eg Mearballs and meatloaf etc that is all you need. Oh and a sack of potatoes sack of onions . Cooking oil , tea bags etc the chopped tomato’s were £3.99 pence for a pack of 12. So we too are stocking up quite well. You get a Kilo of Cheddar at a good price too.
They do have some really good offers on toys and on food. I used to get the sack of potatoes all the time, but I find it hard to find them now. It's really good for stocking up xx
Always but whole tinned tomatoes and chop them up. Chopped tomatoes are more juice than tomatoes whereas whole tomatoes are less juice. Juice is cheaper than tomatoes thats why chopped tomatoes are cheaper.
Nothing wrong with frozen chicken especially as its often cheaper. People say they buy "fresh chicken" and when they get it home they put it in the freezer.
We only buy fresh as we do not have the freezer space. There is nothing wrong with frozen chicken, and yes, if we get a too good to go bags or need to freeze meat for any reason, we do xx
Iceland have got the ten items for ten pounds on again and the items are names and it is a super deal also two fridges full of ready meals for a pound each and they are so handy if you are in a rush.
Thought you did amazing for the money. The large tomato sauces are a great buy for you so handy not worth making your own at that price . Can't believe some of the prices on snacks well worth you going and stocking up x😊
I've never been in a Farmfoods, must give it a try. I always think whenever we go shopping we need to know our prices because even if they say it's a offer it's not always the case. Thank you
Got so much junk "food" for her money to be frank. No wonder people are going crazy eating chemically laden garbage. How about a bit of mash, a couple of bangers and some cabbage?? Look at the label on the pizza. Nothing but garbage. No wonder ill health is going through the roof for all age groups. Snacks for the kids laden with sugar. Should be more education at schools and parent groups on what to feed their kids because to be honest the shelves in our shops are full of CR*P.
Maybe a good tip 🤷♀️ my mum used to do packed lunches, occasionally we’d have sandwiches and other times we’d have a salad; the dressing she used to put into sandwich bags with a tie, I guess people would use small containers now. It can be hard sometimes to know what to add
We mainly use containers. It is hard coming up with different ideas. Especially as most of the children prefer pasta hot, so that's another thing I can't pack. I'm lucky they are not overly picky xx
Was gunna say that. My Italian grandmother taught me that trick, make sure you add it and stir it in when the water is boiling…then stir in the olive oil and mix it, so it incorporates. Salt will also make the pasta cook faster (apparently). ❤

Yeah that’s true 29p is amazing. I often look online for b and m snacks; pricing is usually good…but not always in store compared to the website.

You'd should never add oil as it stops the sauce sticking to the pasta. I never use oil and have not found pasta sticking. Just stir it occasionally.
