Luna. What a sweet girl! I used to love hearing her snore in the background of your videos. It’s so hard when they leave us but the joy they bring into our lives makes the pain worth it. How lucky you were to be loved by Luna and how lucky she was to be loved by you❤️
It was so sweet to see Luna. I know it must be hard but keep your warm memories of her with you and enjoy the new ones with Roxy. It’s our first year without our Carley but I keep her memories with me and smile when I see my Lily and Shelby.
Beautiful video! The stitching is just looking so good. You can already tell it’s going to be stunning!! I loved seeing Luna at the end. ❤️❤️ what a sweet memory.
Today’s video made me all teary, thanks for doing these each day. The countdown SAL is truly becoming part of my Christmas tradition and a cherished one. 💚❤️🎄
Oh, little Luna, such a wonderfully sweet girl. Thank you for sharing; it brought instant tears. Roxy is a doll as well and I love seeing her in your videos, too.❤
Memories . . . my mother tried to teach me to knit, as her Swiss grandmother taught her. The only thing that stuck was knitting Continental style - holding the yarn in the left hand and picking rather than throwing. I relearned as an adult. But whenever I stop to count by using my finger to push two stitches along at a time and count by twos I see and hear my mother counting her stitches. She's been gone more than 30 years and it's lovely to connect with her that way.
How absolutely perfect to have a Luna memory this morning! I have that precious needleminder that resides on my birthday start from 2020…which I have taken out this week as Friday is my birthday! I will be thinking of you both and thank you for the wonderful memory! I loved seeing the first band sampler with Jacob on your wall too that I stitched/finished. Wonderful memories! 🥰
Whew! 😊 I keep a day ahead because of scheduling ussues between now and Christmas. I chose to use the Day 1 colour for day 12 as that seemed to make the most sense to me. Glad that I don’t have to frog and restitch.
Oh Caroline you made my eyes leak with Luna 🐾❤ We had Boxer/Labrador cross growing up as kids, he was black as coal, with the heart of a giant. Loved kids and was such a faithful dog. A bit of a handful when young he was so strong. He looked like a Rottweiler but was so gentle. It’s the season when memories go deeper, hold on to them, be grateful for them and pray you never lose them. Thank you for finding time to pop in every day, you are part of my take a break routine at this busy time of year. I really appreciate you doing this. 😊 Season’s greetings to all at Evertote and your wingwoman in Roxy Floss co. Take care all ❤
That ending was heart renching …. But so precious at the same time. We lost our sweet whippet in 2019. Her name was Fergie and the mention of her name brings tears to my eyes.❤
What a sweet soul Luna was. So much love concentrated in so few years. 💗 On another note, you were working on a tubular cowl using fingering yarn with a provisional cast on. I can't remember which channel or which video it was. Would you please let me know the name of the pattern you are using? Thanks! Happy Stitching, Lynn
The story about the “Nordic paper wreath” …. 🥹🥹🥹. I lost my grandparents as a teenager and my mother and her father both had Alzheimer’s the last many years before passing away. Tried to google what that wreath style actually looks like and got a hundred different images. Wonder if you/the lady who shared the beautiful memory, could show us what it looks like. I will always treasure my own children’s handprint wreaths no matter that they are well worn and a bit “tacky” looking amongst modern-day decorations. Those memories are absolutely priceless. ❤️
I remember Luna fondly - thanks so much for sharing your sweet pets ❣️
Wonderful memories! Thanks for sharing as always!
Oh my gosh😢😢😢That sweet Luna’s face! Those eyes look right through you. Thank you for sharing.💙🐶
