All the recipe concepts were outstanding including presentation. My critique on the palmier carré is to have coated both sides evenly with the chocolate and let drip naturally instead of shaking it. This type of biscuit is one of my faves, but they crumble easily. The banana walnut cake should’ve been spread with whipped icing and thinly sliced banana in between each cake layer and then topped with bananas and caramelized walnuts to make it more appealing than topping it with a single banana fondant.
I want to try and make number 2 because that has got my mouth watering, I am allergic to banana's which is a shame because I have 3 huge walnut trees in my garden that are about to drop their loads. This is a fabulous channel I can admire from afar because I love baking. I grow quite a lot of my own food now and was taught how to make bread when I was a child but the one area that fails me is Pastry I have hot hands and pastry does not like hot hands. BEAUTIFUL BAKING THANK YOU
