Mad Jack Reunion

Forty seven years ago, the oldtime string band Mad Jack and the Black Label Boys began its long life. Original members Bob Bovee, Bob Douglas and Pop Wagner got together for the band contest at the 1975 Oldtime Fiddlers and Country Music Contest in Brownville, Nebraska. Joined soon after by Mary DuShane, Mad Jack hit the road, touring extensively in the United States, Canada and Europe. Mad Jack offers a tasty, rowdy performance of oldtime music and snappy repartee. Tonight’s lineup will be original members Bob Bovee, Mary Dushane and Pop Wagner, with special guest Eric Mohring.
We are dedicating this performance to the loving memory of our dear friend and bandmate, Bob Douglas who passed away on December first of 2022.
