300 nits will not give any real perceivable difference to your eye. If a monitor falls below 600 nits then IMHO it isn't correct proper HDR capable. That's the trouble with HDR being free no certification needed. The HDR logo gets slapped onto anything and everything. It ruins it for those who are new to it and come into HDR under false advertising. ALWAYS check the displays maximum nit level . 2 to 10 % window should be 600 minimum to start.
It’s especially noticeable inside of the car interiors.I’ve just recently got a Samsung oled and before then, thought hdr was a gimmick. but on my new tv, it adds so much depth to some games.
@@Bilalwrites4567 No unfortunately. Your monitor should be able to accept HDR signal to enable it on windows and forza, or the HDR settings menu will not show up.
My tv is LG C9, 800nits but i have the same problem, the tail lights are too DESATURATED in HDR

Does anyone know why the taillights looks white on HDR? IT BOTHERS ME SO MUCH. It wasn't the case with Forza Horizon 3 and 4.
Makes more of a difference in person believe me
It should make big difference in appropriate HDR monitor. But mine, which is written in description, is not and that is what I am trying to show.

Bro can I turn on HDR
My monitor is HDR ready but doesn't have HDR certification
Yes you can. Check if the HDR menu is available in Windows display settings. If you can see and enable it, you are good to go.
