first of all its a very good question, so whatever I am going to tell you is my understating and I can't tell you that this is 100 percent correct ....So as per me Antimicrobial resistance might be an adverse event and because of which the patient might suffer different side effects...So Antimicrobial resistance is not always because of misuse of antibiotics it may be due to patient showing resistance to antibiotic because of patient factor/genes or because of some other drug interaction, so we need to find out the causality/reason for why Antimicrobial resistance is happening....So in nutshell as per me Antimicrobial resistance is an adverse event...Hope this will help...
