He just couldn't handle hearing me, seeing me, or texting me. so that year off, He was playing games 24/7 as a distraction then went back to school after the year just to jump into a relationship with someone he met at orientation whom looks exactly like me lol made it official in april and 3 months later proposed (without a ring) and now they are engaged.. was hoping he learned from our relationship not to rush lol she put their whole relationship on blast on social media, he kept it all private. and his girl stalked my social media haha. im actually going to school there next month so it will be interesting.

Something I never understood is why do people wait until after a break up to improve or work on themselves? Which for whatever reason, why not do these things while in the relationship? Why WAIT until after a break up to start doing things to better yourself? I don't understand.
Some people get to feeling too comfortable in the relationship start doing things they never did before say things act a certain way all things they never did before the relationship and wouldn't do during any relationship that's why people have to showbthey can change and get back to the person their ex fell for to began with, and if you don't communicate well like me and my ex our communication went south and things got bad without her telling me what I was doing wrong ect until its too late and there is a dmall thing that finally breaks the dam open then your like me sitting here single watching her date another man while we have kids together and live in the same home she makes 2k plus a week and says she can't Live on her own but who knows that can change in a week if she and her new man click more
In my case, my ex told me many times over four years (!), and I agreed with her. The problem was I didn’t act. My (v stubborn) ex-fiance and I have been in a naturally awkward setting since he left me almost three months ago - I'm still crazy about him. We've been talking more recently but ironically he seems to be the one to tell me that he still loves me, misses me, that he's lost his 'best friend' and he's 'bereft' without me. Simultaneously he'll say stuff like 'I want the best for you', 'losing you was an expensive lesson' (ie. it's been costly to him but he's accepted the loss), stuff like that.
