Loved this reaction and loved this cover! They almost killed me with their harmonies and the message in general! Gorgeous boys with gorgeous voices and souls ! With Suga's line about not trusting each other, it's just my opinion, but I think he was talking about how we had to isolate and quarantine ourselves because we didn't know who had Covid and who didn't. And there were many people who had it but who acted as if they didn't, spreading the disease even further. That's why the quarantines became mandatory, because people weren't doing it voluntarily. Not everyone, of course, but a significant number of people.
That was my interpretation as well.
It coulda been a reference to the racism also.. the hate that spread because of the virus.
Thanks for saying how good Jungkook is, as he always stands out of his crystal clear vocal and pronunciation.
What more I like about Jungkook is he never failed to attract me whenever he is singing he always deliver great vocal and beautiful emotion in any song in any performance that I never get tired listening to his voice 😉

Thank you for another fabulous reaction! Seriously though, you're one of the few reactors I've seen actually look up the Korean verses and I really appreciate that. I think so many people miss out on the full experience by not looking deeper. Jimin and Jin really nailed the falsettos with JK and Taehyung providing the foundation of harmonies, just gorgeous. And the rap line truly did an amazing job making the song their own without disrespecting the original, classic BTS. Side note: Pausing and replaying are absolutely necessary to appreciate a performance like this, there is just so much to take in. 💜

It is the lowest he has sung and its all in English . You should really watch JK's covers as he does them the most and they are absolutely beautiful . Also he usually sings during vlives and in the latest one he literally did a mini concert . His vocals were so good especially in the last three vlives where he was just eating while livestreaming and then decided to sing for the ARMY . You should really check them out . Thanks again !!
Nice reation to a great cover, their rendition of the song felt respectful considering the original, it was heartfelt and sincere and like you said, they made it their own with regards to how they miss their fans but dedicated it to everyone that can't see someone they truly love, and during this terrible pandemic so many people have lost loved ones so they must have really felt this.
This cover really showcased their vocals and softer raps. I was waiting for your reaction, especially the harmonies and high notes, especially Jimin who really stood out.

I don't know if you've done it but if you want more covers, give "We Don't Talk Anymore" a try. There are two versions of the covers. The first version is that Jungkook did the whole parts alone and the second one is Jungkook singing Charlie's parts and Jimin singing Selena's parts. Even though it's not the all members, you must listen to them!!

IN Suga's verse, the island part: Social Distancing....we've separated ourselves from each other, making each of us islands, alone. I'd love for you to react to some of the covers that the individual vocalists have done on vlives, etc....it's mostly Jungkook, but I think there's a few by V, and maybe a few by the vocal line.

i really wanted you to react to this and i'm so glad you did. the fact that they can make ANY song sound like their own is just amazing. the original song is great by itself but as always they managed to make me love it even more. the vmin harmonies always sound exquisite and jikook harmonies are out of the world as well. the rapline ALWAYS outdo themselves. i mean, yoongi and hobi writing their own verses??!! creative geniuses. yes jungkook got different voice from them ops all of them got very good voices but jungkook is diffrent to others voice theres a magic and he sings no pressure just easy with no over power or over react and he hits every note jungkook know all the diffrent voices i love all there voices but there is something on jk voice that you can resist

They gave justice to this iconic song and at the same time, they made it uniquely BTS.. By the way, the original singer Sting has listened to the song and he praised BTS (in Twitter)... Now, we've seen and heard the 3 generations of the song: 1) Every Breath You Take by Sting in the 80s; 2) I'll be Missing You by Puff Daddy & Faith Evans in the 90s and 3) I'll be Missing You by BTS in the 21st century... Wow! the song lives on.
