I'm sorry to hear this. 😔 It seems that it's not available in all regions, but I couldn't find exactly where it is/isn't supported. On this page, under Requirements, you'll see for your current location if it's supported: developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/ai-assistance#requirements I hope they extend the location support soon. 🤞
Oh, don't be so cynical, Thomas! 🙂 This won't be helpful all the time, and it would certainly be nonsense to ask AI about every line of code, but I can tell you honestly that I spent an inordinate amount of time searching for bugs that ended up being something trivial - asking AI for help at that time would have likely been helpful. And about Google gathering my information, they won't learn anything relevant from DevTools they don't already know about me from googling. 🙂
It's nice to have AI in the dev tools but I will not depend on it. I really like to figure out the problem myself, I know it may take effort and time but it will keep my brain functioning. Thanks for the updates Zoran!
Oh, yes, that’s right! I completely overlooked this. I should have mentioned that your region needs to be supported. 😔 Check under requirements here: developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/ai-assistance
because everyone's css in other file or previous browser default create problems. but in case of tailwind it's know the proper context about the element, all css styles and it know tailwind clears default css styles
Ok, I see that if you're using AI that doesn't have access to your code, but in this case, AI in DevTools should have all the context and understand precisely what the deal is in your particular case. 🙂
Thank you for your work and newsletter. 👍🏻
Thank you so much for your kind words, Andrew! It means a lot! 🙏
I can access Gemini but it says this feature is unavailable in my region. Anyone has faced the same problem?

Wahooo awesome! Now you can have answers you already know from an AI you have to teach what to look at... 🤣
What a time to be procrastinating !
This is just a new way for Google to gather your informations with your consent ! 🎣🥕

Good thinking, Ahmad! Indeed, there is something satisfying in figuring it out yourself. 🙂
@@CSSWeekly It's the problem-solving thing inside of us.

Which version of Chrome Canary are you using?
Also, you need to check if your region is covered by to use this functionality.

AI sucks at CSS, but it rocks at Tailwind
Are you referring to AI in DevTools or something else? 🙂
