In the movie, at least the husband is supporting his wife's decision against the abortion. However, in reality there are countless cases where the husband works in full agreement with their parents' decision of abortion even if it means aborting 2-3, 4, 5..... or any no of times just to have a son. They don't care what will happen to the mother. Whether she will survive all that or not.
Do u know that in lots of cases even the wife agrees and gets the child aborted or if the family is really poor they will just have the baby & kill or dump it once it's born. India mein abortion bahoot common Hain ,har private hospital mein asani se kaam ho jata Hain no questions asked. One of the hospitals I know and work with it's the most common procedure performed and usually it's an extra marital pregnancy . MTP & Hysterectomy are the bread and butter of that hospital . Roz chalta Hain and the fetuses are secretly thrown in local river because if they're given as biomedical waste to municipality ( which is actually mandatary for all medical waste ) the authorities will immediately close the hospital. In the movie, at least the husband is supporting his wife's decision against the abortion. However, in reality there are countless cases where the husband works in full agreement with their parents' decision of abortion even if it means aborting 2-3, 4, 5..... or any no of times just to have a son. They don't care what will happen to the mother. Whether she will survive all that or not.
And sometimes is the one who drags the wife to the clinic despite his parents and family doing everything in their power to stop him.
Do u know that in lots of cases even the wife agrees and gets the child aborted or if the family is really poor they will just have the baby & kill or dump it once it's born. India mein abortion bahoot common Hain ,har private hospital mein asani se kaam ho jata Hain no questions asked. One of the hospitals I know and work with it's the most common procedure performed and usually it's an extra marital pregnancy . MTP & Hysterectomy are the bread and butter of that hospital . Roz chalta Hain and the fetuses are secretly thrown in local river because if they're given as biomedical waste to municipality ( which is actually mandatary for all medical waste ) the authorities will immediately close the hospital. Duniya hi kuch aisa Hain.

This movie would have been actually useful 30-40 yrs back. This mindset is on a rampant decline and in almost 70% of the country it has become negligible. This dialogue "Daughter is not tension, Daughter is equal to ten sons" was said by Amitabh Bachchan and he might have said it with good intention. But the dialogue is in itself a problem. It is actually saying women are better than men. There is another dialogue like "Men and women are equal" which is also a lie. Men and women are made different. Their bodies and more importantly brains work differently. Both men and women should admire their similarities and respect the differences. I know that there is a lot of injustice against women and we men feel guilty because of it. That's why we are overcompensating with such dialogues. It is easier to appease than to treat someone as equal. If we really want to change we should stop this overcompensation and start treating them just like a normal human being. "Men and women are not equal. They are made different by God. Men are better at some things and women are better at some things. But both are humans and both should be treated equally."

Bollywood released 6 movies on threatres this year and gangubai and kashmir files hit hui hain which means 2 out of 6 movies are successful which is better hit ratio than south industries jahan pe is saal bas badi movies hi chali hain bhaiyaa.

I wouldn’t agree with your Reel and REAL analysis. Topic may be a real issue but they didn’t make the movie realistic. Why add comedy in REAL issue movie and why Hero stand against the system why not his wife because it’s RANVEER and movie should appease the audience or else it won’t reach the masses. Same with so called South Reel movies they are made for the masses. I don’t see any difference. There are movies like Qissa with a REAL issue and Irfan Khan played a REAL role, imagine Ranveer doing same with this movie and we can say they made a REAL thing. Ranveer has to be a HERO in the REAL issue movie or else nobody watches it.
