I have never heard of this fan-game before, but the 16x16 mod is making this game more accurate to the arcade graphics with some scrolling! Great video! I hope there could be a 24x24 version, but that will have to wait like GTA6.
I played Pac-Man TIC-80 before, and it was awesome! But you modded it in 8x8 and 16x16? This seems to be a very cool thing! The 16x16 version is the one I'm looking forward to play soon!
I really would love to get these released, but as stated in the description I would love to get in contact with the original creator and get his permission, unless by some chance he doesn't mind that these are released.
@@ZuranimatedMedia179 Unfortunately, he seems to be inactive, at least on the social media websites that I checked, even on the TIC-80 website. A shame too, I don't think I'll ever get a definitive answer.

Well, news that should've been out a month or two ago, but I managed to contact the creator and he says he allows this to be distributed, as long as he's in the credits, which I made sure to keep him in. I updated the description with a link the modded versions, the 8x8 version is eventually going to be replaced by an updated version by Retropone that integrates the changes I made, along with a few tweaks of his own.
@@PernovaAnd12 Remove the line that says something like "if plusmode then spritepointers=1", on the line below it remove everything except for "spritepointers=0" (since those are where the default sprites are located), make sure to remove the "end" below it as well.

why is the game always facing down Im using retroarch core?
im also trying to make my own mod but when i go to plus mode or the jr maze it resets the sprites any way to fix this
@@PernovaAnd12 There are separate sprites for both the Plus mode and Jr Pac-Man game rules, you'll need a pro version of TIC-80 to access those.
