Some of these are a little silly. No, do NOT steal. Usually there's a simple fix for payroll even if outsourced (Adp, etc). Most firms are very sensitive to payroll for its employees and changes usually have to be pushed a week in advance. Heck dd folks can get their check up to two days sooner! Now if it's a shady company you have a variety of legal options to address the issue. They can't just not pay you in an acceptable time especially if they are at fault. if you are in the US or a country with labor laws. But for her to steal - it'd be a moot point. And the cutesy camera nonsense - no. I'd make absolutely sure she's FIRED at a minimum. There would be NO conversation with "Janet". Veronica would never have been allowed back into the facility and if it was discovered while she was there, security would immediately remove her and hand her over to the police who'd be waiting on site to take her in for processing. It would be humiliating and deserved. Veronica's little attitude and $200 would have turned into thousands...😂😂
Stweie:"Hey uhh so do you have my money" Bryan:"Oh ah yea I'll get it to you by Friday" Stewie:"Oh I could of said to have it by today" Bryan:"Yea, I'll have it by friday" Stewie:"Mmm thats some good ojay *smashes Bryan's head with a glass*" Im on Veronica's side. The corporation cannot legally steal a paycheck. If they do, then dont complain about the CONSEQUENCES.
"Aspirational 5" is one of the most ridiculous things, along with weighted scoring (can't have too many "over achieving" employees). Having two or three excellent team mates and then all 3 of you getting punished with a weighted average is galling.
I used to hate the tax dance myself! Either take less jobs to not end up working for up to $300 just for uncle sam to get it with no recompense or bust my butt to get just enough to benefit from the higher bracket instead of getting screwed by it!

The ending sounded like Veronica was colored she just let loose and her tune went from just like an innocent employee with a no taking bullshit attitude to going scorched earth not caring about what she said and the Lincoln part i actually laughed cause I can see Veronica seeing something in the future where it would benefit her and it did like Jesus Veronica you go girl
Look, i hate these corporate managers as much as the next guy, but the employee is just behaving like a total a*hole. Stealing stuff and flogging it on ebay is a much worse crime than withholding something for a month for example. Also the employee could at least show a bit more understanding. The superiors also have superiors and they have to do things they dont like too. So just closing up and tell them to go f themselves isnt cool, it just makes you look terrible.
The payroll usually have a feature to issue additional checks that is designed just to correct any mistakes. No employer would tell an employee to wait for next payday. This is just such a fake story. Stealing is also a no no and a reason for disciplinary action.
No, no it is not. I have dealt with this. We even have laws in place about payroll, depending on where you live. Where I am if the mistake is more than 5% of your pay they have to pay you within 2 business days.
How cute, you think they wouldn't because they shouldn't. I have news for you, they're hoping people don't know the rules and let it happen, they try it on for size ALL the time. Labor laws and unions exist for a reason and it's this right here.
Two things. First, you can’t steal to make up your loss. That is a firing violation. Might not be ideal but they did offer to add it to your next paycheck. Second, just put in your notice. If you are worth what you think you are they will come around. If not you will be looking for another job. My son threatened to quit after his boss did him dirty. They offered him a large raise if he would stay. He declined. He said the money would be nice but it was the principle of it. The CFO made him another offer basically doubling his salary. He said it was too much money to turn down and stayed.
Sure, you can't steal to make up lost income. However someone can reject waiting another pay period for the shortage of income owed. The company is legally required to pay what is owed before the next pay period if it was not agreed with the employee.
I usually agree with Veronica… but that’s a week waiting… less than that… And then she proceeded to steal from inventory of the company. She is wrong here.
Lol then I'm gonna leave now with a cop for you to speak with for stealing my time last week & my money. I wouldn't take the stuff & sell it. I'm gonna get my money today!!! They are going to direct deposit it while I go to Extendo lunch.
Pretty sure you can't go out stealing stuff, first of all you'll end up in the wrong side, second it's illegal and they can report you and put you in danger
Veronica is now shown to be a thief. This cannot be considered a surprise. Does she really expect to get the full 5% raise after stealing on a security video and violating NDAs?
“ I can confidently say I did not” 🤣

Veronica is my hero.
Veronika should have quit this job a long time ago.
Stweie:"Hey uhh so do you have my money"
Bryan:"Oh ah yea I'll get it to you by Friday"
Stewie:"Oh I could of said to have it by today"
Bryan:"Yea, I'll have it by friday"
Stewie:"Mmm thats some good ojay *smashes Bryan's head with a glass*"
Im on Veronica's side. The corporation cannot legally steal a paycheck. If they do, then dont complain about the CONSEQUENCES.
No she didn't just get to walk away, she was fired, but given the benefits she earned.
I LOVE that laugh…..
"Aspirational 5" is one of the most ridiculous things, along with weighted scoring (can't have too many "over achieving" employees). Having two or three excellent team mates and then all 3 of you getting punished with a weighted average is galling.
I have had that happen with my check.
I used to hate the tax dance myself! Either take less jobs to not end up working for up to $300 just for uncle sam to get it with no recompense or bust my butt to get just enough to benefit from the higher bracket instead of getting screwed by it!
Been there, done that on both scenarios!!
Damn... This is just like when I worked at apple. Damn... When I quit was when I was asked to onboard a new person. High school graduate. Was making 2k a year more than me. I have an MSc in Engineering.
The act of signing binds you to the contract, not the name you signed.
Imma go… 😂
On board for disciplinary action 😊
Look, i hate these corporate managers as much as the next guy, but the employee is just behaving like a total a*hole. Stealing stuff and flogging it on ebay is a much worse crime than withholding something for a month for example. Also the employee could at least show a bit more understanding. The superiors also have superiors and they have to do things they dont like too. So just closing up and tell them to go f themselves isnt cool, it just makes you look terrible.
It has gotten nothing but worse.
I still have teams bubbles PTSD.
Lucky i do not have to work as a corporate- less than- human employee.
The payroll usually have a feature to issue additional checks that is designed just to correct any mistakes. No employer would tell an employee to wait for next payday. This is just such a fake story. Stealing is also a no no and a reason for disciplinary action.
She running out of real anecdotes huh
No, no it is not. I have dealt with this. We even have laws in place about payroll, depending on where you live. Where I am if the mistake is more than 5% of your pay they have to pay you within 2 business days.
How cute, you think they wouldn't because they shouldn't. I have news for you, they're hoping people don't know the rules and let it happen, they try it on for size ALL the time. Labor laws and unions exist for a reason and it's this right here.
Employees are told all the time to wait for the next paycheck. It's easier for them. It's happened to me more than once.
The company is legally required to pay what is owed before the next pay period if it was not agreed with the employee.
of course veronica is latina! 😆😆
I usually agree with Veronica… but that’s a week waiting… less than that…
And then she proceeded to steal from inventory of the company. She is wrong here.
Identical to my job
Illegal
Illegal
Illegal
Lol then I'm gonna leave now with a cop for you to speak with for stealing my time last week &
my money. I wouldn't take the stuff & sell it. I'm gonna get my money today!!! They are going to direct deposit it while I go to Extendo lunch.
Is this stolen from the other channel?
My understanding is that this is straight-up illegal activity. Contractually, you are paid to work, so a breach in that contract is a big fat no-no
I wonder how much would it cost in the US to sue for your $ 200 ?
Pretty sure you can't go out stealing stuff, first of all you'll end up in the wrong side, second it's illegal and they can report you and put you in danger
This is typical so they under pay you.
You didnt think this through ,did you? 😅😅😅😅😅
Veronica is now shown to be a thief. This cannot be considered a surprise. Does she really expect to get the full 5% raise after stealing on a security video and violating NDAs?
thats not the law.. department of labor know what to do
I am her lololo
So is the real Veronika getting paid for this?
Veronica is insufferable most of the time. Stealing $200 over a payroll error is completely unreasonable and I would’ve fired her on the spot
These are cute but most of these are grounds for termination, if you don't care about being employed go ahead and do it
Stealing was NOT smart. I understand her predicament but stealing is not the answer.
I love that people think you can act like Veronica and keep your job. Ideally yes but this is a very Gen Z attitude that simply wont fly. Sorry.
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
