To be fair, I feel like two rounds could fit into one video here. It felt astonishingly short. Was on the Edge of my seat the entire time. Amazing Content
You can really feel Frost's background in LoL in this one, he got hyper competitive really fast. Fun mod, would love to see more
What was cool was the meta back and forth that happened.
Opponent opens with Claw? Counter with Thorns and defensive cards, and energy gain to make it work.
How do you counter not being able to claw into oblivion? Pivot to orbs, as thorns only trigger on attack.
If opponent had committed to fewer claws and stuck to orb scaling with a X Lightning card instead of Static Discharge, he woulda had a chance to win.
Lovely back and forth, and it really shows how tight the OG game’s design is that only a few tweaks makes this entirely possible and FUN.
And i love how some neow bonus became a lot better than it is. Stuff like 100 gold can be pretty small, but with the abundance of shop (and courier start) made it SOO much better

I love how frost also seems to have nerfed himself by loading up in ascen 20, which at the very least limited his pots slots.
Genuinely such a fun mod and video. Please please make more and have multiple 1v1s in a single video.
This was amazing.
The only tragedy here is Defect not even being able to end himself, my man couldn't even save himself from getting obliterated, that was so much damage that the screen went black to not show the aftermath of what became of poor Defect.
These are brilliant. I watched both this morning and was on the edge of my seat.
Note to the mods: an alternate victory screen would be cool. The sudden transiton after the final blow is anticlimactic.

Pretty sure the "playing the same card X times in a turn increases cost" thing didn't work, or the chatter wouldn't have been able to play 15 claws in the same turn.
i think it was the fact that it was different claw cards, but ymmv
It's based on each unique card, so you can't play the *same* claw card, but you can play multiple different claw cards

It might be fun to have a discord call during the actuak fights. You might mute yourself to talk to chat, but a little good-natured trash talking can be entertaining.
