I couldn't agree more with what you said, but I think it would've helped had they changed the setlist around from year to year and tour to tour instead of playing 95% of the same songs for the past decade. We'll never know the reason(s) why they did that, but that would have to get boring for any musician to do - and for the fans as well who pay their hard earned money and spend a good amount of their time going to see them each time they come around. Every single tour since at least 2007 has had the same exact setlist give or take a couple of songs that would usually get rotated back and forth in and out of the setlist for something different each tour, but the majority of what they played every night was always the same. I hated it whenever they would bring something that they used to play back, because at least it was changing things up even if it wasn't anything special, or on the rare occasion that they would play something they've rarely ever done live or have never played before period only to drop it immediately. I couldn't even justify going to the farewell tour, as big of a fan as I am for as long as I've been. I thought maybe they would go all out and create this really badass setlist, maybe even change it up a decent from night to night to make things really special and give fans both new and old a really unique show that they've never seen before no matter how many HIM concerts they've been to, but it was just the standard fare. It almost felt like a slap in the face as a fan, if I can be honest, and like I said I didn't even go to one of the shows. It's like if they don't care then why should anyone else, you know?
It's SUPER SAD about our FINNS. Similar with MOST Scandinavians Case in point the Deathstars from Sweden, just because your a SUPER TALENTED musician doesn't mean you have to go be a COMPLETE FOOL. I'm now WANTING to RETIRE from what I do because over the years, it has led down 1 HORRIBLE situation & I've done "pills" & I won't share the rest. But for my jobs in the same industry it seemed I had to be up the WHOLE DAY all the time. 7 days a week 365 days a year, ugh now I feel like I RESENT everything.
