    Why has the UK been world leading in science for centuries? Clearly isn't a a short-term reason.
    - Intelligence
    - Facilities
    - Culture
    Others can copy 2 and attempt to copy 3

      You could say the same for the cure for smallpox, but the fact is that more died of the disease than died for the cure. Sometimes sacrifices are necessary, and those sacrifices are usually made by the weak.
