Despite the injures that hindered somehow his career, he manage to be among the gods in the pantheon of football. His whole story, both glorious and sad career, was often associated with the term "romantic football", recalling a time long gone in terms of quality and men in Italian Football. Jesus loves everyone . Jesus is the way the truth and the life . Jesus rose to save . Repent and know Jesus. God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are Three In One. Prayer > manifestation. Jesus is above perfection, and only Him. Jesus is king. Jesus is the only true and real idol. Jesus saves ❤️✝️

The Maldini free kick he scored at the liverpool-AC Milan legends match a few years ago was incredible, literally the whole ground went silent and then the whole ground stood and applauded for about 3 minutes in utter disbelief of what we had just witnessed! "It was truly magical".

The best has got to be Roberto Baggio. I get it that Maldini is Mr Consistent and rock solid at the back even as a left back.
However Baggio was a talent bar none. He is the ultimate Italian Number 10. Playmaker, Striker and prolific goal scorer.
In World Cup 94, he carried Italy on his shoulders to the final, in a team that relied heavily on him to score.

If you mention Baggio, and you should, you should also mention Giovanni Rivera. But I agree on Maldini, playing for ACM in 90´s ment playing in the absolut best league in the world and for one of the best teams also. Also, for a decade around 1998-2008 he was the best CB and LB, simultaneously.

To see an older, injured Baresi almost mark out Romario, in the 1994 World Cup Final was class. That he missed in pen shootout was like ZZ v Fra 2006.
