- Friendly Stray Dog Waits Every Day In The Same Place For Someone To Save Him. We met Remy during a dog spay-neuter campaign that we organized in a rural area. He was living on the street, sleeping on the pavement, near a small grocery store where a kind lady fed him every day. Each morning when we arrived in the village, he would come to greet us, happily wagging his tail. It's hard to understand why nobody offered him a home.
In rural regions in Romania dogs are most of the time kept only as guarding or protection "tools" and not as family members. And old, cruel "traditions" are still alive there, many dogs having their nose burnt with a red-hot iron to boost their immunity system and help cure distemper.
Remy is the most wonderful dog one could ever wish for: friendly, smart, very loving with everyone, good with other dogs, obedient, house trained. He's approximately 3 years old, fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and he can also be adopted internationally to the USA, Canada or Europe. Dimmie Merian I've said the same myself. If you're loaded you can take the cash straight to the source, thus cutting out all the middlemen and help out physically as well . A lot of people don't donate (especially abroad ), as you dont actually know if the charity get's any of it, which is so sad .

When i was 8 years old, i prayed to the God. If years after, I'm rich enough to buy a Land. I'm gonna take care of every animal who was abandoned and found on the street.
Now im 27, Thank God for His Mercy, i have a big house and wide empty space on my backyard and i have 37 different kind of Animal whom were abandoned and found on the street like Puppy and Dog, Kitten and Cat, Squirrel, Bird, etc..
I only hope one thing, God will forgive me for my sins and bless me with his Mercy..

Lol I didnt think of it like that. Poor dog i also use animals for a purpose i dont like animals just eating and not doing a service but how nice this dog is would be providing love and friendship to a sad lonely person that is a huge service. I have already provided 2 awesome dogs to loving families because I needed a hunting dog and those 2 dogs were not up to the task there is no way I could have thrown those dogs in the street I kept them and loved and paid huge medical bills until they were moved to their family all for free because I love animals too but I wont get a dog just to get one.
Why should an animal do a service?
Can't we just help them
out of the goodness of our heart
without expecting anything in return?
& if we get something in return like love & affection
that's a bonus
but we shouldn't not take them in unless we are gaining something from them

Nope, they are animals not humans I will help humans out for nothing and I do all the time but not animals. I do not get animals just to get them if I buy an animal it better be a hunting partner or protect my house or something useful. People need to get out of the mindset that animals are people. That doesn't mean we need to torture them or be mean to them just because they are less compared to humans. If an animal makes it into my house it is the best place because they are always going to the doctor for whatever they need vaccines or anything else. They dont wait for if I see something I make the appointment right away. They get the best food the warmest softest bed I can find. I put alot of money into my hunting buddies and when he gets older then he can relax and take it easy and live a care free life till he dies but that needs to be earned I am not just going to feed a dog or other animal for fun. I will tell you what, you can feed all the animals you want and take care of them for fun that's your choice
@@BadgerBabyBoy It isn't as if he said he beat the useless ones or put them down. He treated them good and found them homes with people that get animals just because. My dog is a rescue. I rescued her just because. I fell in love immediately. She was not rescued to work. With that said, she is super protective of myself and my children. That was just a bonus for me, not a requirement. I don't disagree with what American Patriot is saying though. He wants dogs for specific reasons. Hunting, protecting his house, etc. Those dogs that do, have a great life with him. The ones that don't go to families better suited to them. I'm not sure if you know this or not though, some dogs were bread for those specific reasons. They're HAPPIER hunting with him and protecting him than they would be laying around all day. It's what they're built to do.
I checked with Howl of a dog and Remy has been adopted in his forever home in NC... What a very very nice loving dog.

He seems to be a Labrador mix. They are good natured, kind with children, very social with other dogs and funny as a breed and love to play even when they are old buddies.

Well, the exterior fits.
The flat brow, the clapped ears, the fishotter rod, the always shiny "duck" fur, even when dirty, predestinated for swimming.
And imo the back movements are characteristic for retrievers.
The way they overly express their pure joy to meet or play with someone. I don't know another breed that shakes its doggy butt that way :D they do it that special way during playtime, too, shoving their back to the other dog to tackle him, not the front like most dogs. It's so typical and you certainly can make it out at the dog park especially everytime 2 of them (Retriever breeds) are playing together. How different it is looking from others. And this guy looks a lot like the chocolate Lab of our friends (ours is a black Lab).
Well, I hope he's in a good and loving home now, but seems this way.
So glad he finally found the family he can show his friendly lovingly nature every day!

Yes the world is unfair alright. I just learned in my city there are a whole bunch of 18-year-old kids who were in foster care most of their lives now living on the streets because the government forces them to move out of their foster parents' homes when they turn 18. A lot of them have no money & live hand to mouth in groups of friends. It would be bad enough if you were a boy, but I can't imagine what life like that would for a 18-year-old girl.

The lady in the village that fed him everyday, bless her heart! He actually looked pretty healthy considering all he has been through...
I imagine that's a large part of why he reacted so well to humans too.. he had was in regular contact with someone providing him some level of care, so he was a tame, friendly dog.
Based on his behavior and how healthy he looked (considering he lived on the streets) I am sure there were kind people around who at least interacted with him/ fed him to some extent. He never looked like a broken down, depressed or sad dog.
I feel sorry for the lady, she will miss him.

So many dogs sit in shelters, because their owners were foolish. Please adopt don’t shop. please. PLEASE. All we do is rescue seniors, and dogs people have to “rehome” because they were too lazy to research the breed and put in the work. If I could take more I would. If not Remy, check your local shelter. Sadly, people will be buying ;( dogs for Xmas presents and will be tired of caring for them by mid January. Sad but true. Make a difference and adopt a 🐶 dog.
Vegaspsychicdiva totally agree. My dog we’ve had for 14 years and it is HARD to take care of him now that he’s old, but we do it, cause he’s family. I wouldn’t throw a human family member out on the streets if they get old and sick, so why would I do it to Max? It’s easy to love and take care of a young puppy, it’s work to take care of a senior dog. But the love they have for you is worth it ❤️ we got Max when our neighbor was moving and they were either gonna have us take him or open the door and just let him go. So we took him (we usually get mutts from shelters-this is our first purebred dog-) and we’ve never regretted it.
Yes! we also adopt a beagle dog now his old but we still care & love him coz his a family to us. Hope people learn to adopt those who in the shelter. They do need a home & tender love .
@steven laughs moreso maybe they have experience with people adopting needy dogs and trying to return them? It was likely the experience thing. A dog is already a ton of work, if it's a troublesome breed now it's 2x the work

I just recently adopted a 10 year old chihuahua for my mom and he’s the sweetest pup ever. She into small dogs and likes them older as her first pup was 16 when she got him and died at 20 a few months ago. I have two dogs now and I will only get adopted dogs from shelters.

THAT's the problem in a nut shell! And it doesn't matter what kind of pet you have, unless you're a responsible, ethical, professional breeder, PLEASE, PLEASE spay/neuter. Remmy is one of too few "lucky" ones.

@@vblackwell3347 A neutered dog with an organization who would be looking out for him is probably not an attractive prospect in that village. I am not surprised an international adopter came forward. There are far too many unwanted cats and dogs in the world and the solution is quite simple.

Romania does not have a good reputation on animal welfare but there are obviously people there who try to do some good.Well done to the lady for at least meeting the dogs basic requirements of food.She possibly has little to give but did not turn a blind eye to him.If people can do no good for an animal,at least do them no harm please

There's just something about a pup's eyes. There is a pureness and innocence you just can't find anywhere else. These wonderful creatures are surely a gift from God.

My friend said last week that 'that you could beat the crap out of a dog and it would still love you.'. Sad but true. We were discussing dog loyalty, he is actually a kind guy, but we were discussing how they get taken advantage of a lot.
@@Amusegirl1980 actually, you can only kick a dog so many times and it will turn on you. I'm a dog lover and would never hurt an animal, but I have seen dogs "turn".
they turn because they feel when it's not love but they don't turn when they feel real love. My Rottweiler and I were together for over a decade and it was the greatest gift in my life.
You can see how intelligent he really is. They gave him a treat, then the other dog which he looked like he was aiming for, then gave him a treat again, and then when giving the other dog the 2nd treat, Remy waited patiently and shared. He understood sharing instantly. What a precious boy. He deserves the world and I hope he gets it one day.

I’m a professional fighter not popular yet but working my way up the ranks. Not showing off just showing people that I fit that “tough man” stereotype yet this video had me watery in the eyes. The bad news is I tried to adopt him and couldn’t because the good news is it looks like someone has already adopted him. What a great dog they’ll have!

The same can be said about any species, I think. I've never rescued an animal that didn't learn to trust & showed absolute appreciation.
They don't know how else to get food, and The burning was not done in malice, so it was most likely not like the owner kicked and abused the dog a lot.
We bread them to need us, dogs are the best.

If you have never had a dog, than its impossible to explain that to you, especially some sort of Labrador/pitbull?? mix type dog. They live to make you happy! Mine lived for 13 years, and he made them the best 13 years of my life! We did everything together, except when i had to go to work. He was always waiting at the door when i got home with a ball in his mouth. Waiting to go and play in a park with a sign that clearly stated "NO DOGS ALLOWED" Haha, never even cared when walked by with No Leash! Mainly he loved to go hiking and put his nose to work, no idea what he smelled but it must of been really good!

Yeah, I hated that. If a dog is not a killer and wolf aggressive, apparently it's not a real dog. But their value is in their love of and trust in us.
Yep that's what I think it's just dogs are like little babys to take care of and that dog needs to be happy and finger someone to adopt him/her so he/her Can be happy with a new happy family.
